Fair enough, all we ask is people approach his candidacy with an open mind.
Sick to death of the GOP Establishment telling me us "must vote" for so and so or such and such because "only they are electable". Considering what a mess the "electable" ones of made of everything, it time to take a stand for what is right rather then what is easy.

You are falling into the liberal style of thinking where one’s actions are not based on individual choice but are a product of categorization circumstances. I could easily use that logic to say we shouldn’t vote for white people because of Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Jimmy Carter and every other liberal cracker.
The difference is liberal versus conservative, not black versus white.

Would be interesting to have a ‘FReepers’ only’ poll.
Just how many registered/active Freepers are there?
Could be the next FReepathon;)

I was not sold on Cain until I went to his announcement for President in Atlanta. I went thinking it would be a nice bit of history to take my children to see. I came away thinking "this guy would be a great President." He is a serious leader, with serious plans, at a serious point in US History.
What I think the point strongest in Cain's favor is he is not a focus group tested, sound bite driven, PR manufacture,d political image but an authentic serious leader.
Other then Palin, I cannot think of anyone else in politics I can honestly say that about.
