In the final episode of Sarah Palins Alaska on TLC which Governor Palin herself produced and had complete creative control over the Governor promised to let Bob and Mark know, on the air, when she decides to run for president. Since the Governor personally chose to have that bit included in the episode, there has to be a reason for this.
The Bob and Mark Show broadcasts Monday through Friday. Though tomorrow is Constitution Day, todays when Constitution Day is observed in most of the country. Its also a day when The Bob and Mark Show broadcasts.
Many believe the Governor will announce her presidential bid on the show today since she appears to indeed be scheduled as a guest at 930am PST which is 1130am CST and 1230pm EST.
I have no idea what will happen on the show, but Im going to tune in just in case.
If you hear anything else pertaining to this, please share the info in this thread.
It sure is interesting the Governor is booked on this show, today of all days, since restoring respect for the Constitution is one of the main planks in whats presumed to be the Governors presidential platform.
Tune into The Bob & Mark Show to see what happens!

PS: Ive been trying for a few weeks now to determine if Governor Palin has any public events scheduled for Constitution Day (observed today, or tomorrow 9/17/11). I have not been able to turn up anything, which is intriguing in itself.
We dont know what this means yet if anything but Im sure going to listen to The Bob & Mark Show to see if shes really going to be on, and to listen to what the Governor says if she does in fact appear on the show.

UPDATE: It looks like the source of this rumor is Simon Conway, who is a drive time radio host in Iowa, who said on Facebook that he saw something posted at a Palin supporting group about the Bob & Mark appearance before it was taken down. Conway seems like he wanted to be the first to say she was going to announce today, so he would get the attention that would come with that.
Looking at the GOP schedule of debates, though, I dont know what to think to be honest. Rick Perry loses more steam every debate, and the next debate is not until September 22nd. It sure keeps with Governor Palins past announcements to declare her candidacy on a symbolic day like Constitution Day but it also seems like part of her strategy to keep allowing Perry to further implode before she joins the race.
We all know the moment Governor Palin announces, shell be the sole focus, and guys like Perry wont get the vetting and media attention they need as her opponents.
The debate after the 22nd is in October, on a day when the Governor is scheduled to give a speech on economics in Korea. Technically, she could fly back in time to participate in the debate, since shed make up time on the 14 hour flight back to the States, though I dont know if shed be inclined to do this.
It seems odd for her to participate in the September 22nd debate, but then skip the one on October 18th, and then rejoin the group a debate after that unless her intention is to begin participating in the debates after the 18th.
That would give her opponents two appearances on the stage without her to attack her, and I dont see her allowing that to happen though.
I think even the Governors detractors need to admit shes a masterful strategist who keeps everyone guessing. She really brings great excitement to American politics. Honestly, my boyfriend Justin asked what I was typing so late and I told him, and now hes too excited to sleep and has actually woken his mother up in Arkansas to tell her to listen to this radio show. I told him not to do this, but hes excited at the mere prospect of Governor Palin announcing today.
I dont think even Mittens Romneycares own family are excited by anything he does. Let alone complete strangers.
Can you imagine someone like Justin calling his mother long distance in the middle of the night, waking her up, just to tell her theres a chance Mitt Romney could be on an obscure radio show in Alaska later that morning and that she would be excited and happy he did this?

Ok so you have given up on her because her time has passed. Pick up your toys and go home. Doesn’t bother me.
I’m getting done with her. She’s overdue.
Me rage and get emotional?
You are more than welcome to be tired of Sarah and to ease your pain from hearing about her, simply stay off the Palin threads.
The post is addressed to the first person listed. You were simply pinged for interest. :-)
ok, thanks because I am loving this. God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.....but Hobbits are flat out warped ;-)
FWIW who knows who started the rumor? It might have been an attempt to shake the Sarah faithful. B&M may or may not have been in on it but sure know that when opportunity knocks you open the door before he's done.
Sarah has said she will run an unconventional campaign IF she runs. She'll announce to run or not on her schedule, not when someone else tells her she should.
As it stands no if she runs she most likely gets my vote. If she doesn't I will probably sit out the presidential election, vote wise, donation wise and volunteer wise. Then my focus will be on getting conservative candidates elected in local, regional and state elections until the next go around.
Hey, n00b, I might have been on Free Republic for a few 24-hours, and if I remember anything about this place, I get to voice my opinion about anything political.
So, n00b, STFU about what threads I should be going on, and the implication that I cannot state my opinion about Palin.
Or I JUST might make you into a 'hobby'.
Deej, I've been pretty invested in Palin. I think she's the right lady, despite what the media did to her, to get the job done.
I just really get the impression she's not running. I think she toyed with it, and decided to take a pass.
If she made a decision not to run, she should listen to this song and act accordingly:
I expect more from you than this lame nOOb thing. Good heavens. Whatever she has done to irritate you, she has been around for several years.
I always ticks me off a little when someone is attacked for being a so-called newbie.
I love new people joining us. What they do after that will tell the tale.
Wow, you can't take the heat, can you?
So why don't you just have Palin caucus threads where people can talk about Palin all day long without anyone actually challenging anything anyone says.
Why not?
This Palin phenomenon has become something of a religious following at this point anyway. So why not just institute Religion Forum rules when talking about her?
You are absolutely right...
...NOBODY is excited enough about Perry to do much of anything.
If Perry gets the nomination, I’ll support him lukewarmly, just like everybody else. He’ll be an average president and our country will continue to slowly sink into the abyss.
The tragedy - and not coincidentally why so many are emotionally invested in Palin - is 2012 is a very rare opportunity to elect a movement conservative who will actually reduce the size and reach of the federal government.
Its not about her, and it never was - it is about what she represents and truly believes. People are passionate about her running, because they are passionate about their country.
The only passion surrounding Perry is the passion for getting rid of zero without any consideration as to what they are putting in his place.
Oh my, you did research and then pulled out the dreaded Newbie Card. Shaking in my boots. Cute graphic, but I wouldn’t hit it. Likewise on the STFU stuff.
I just get ticked off when later-joiners try to silence people by telling us to stay off threads. They can blow that right out their whale-hole!
I have a pretty levelheaded view about Sarah, so if someone's all like, 'take a hike' (by insinuation and implication) because I do not follow a script they like -- especially if they joined almost a decade after us! -- that makes me go RIGHT HERE:
LOL
Luv,
Laz
I GOTS ME A NEW HOBBY!!!!
Perry supporters are always sweaty.
Haha! Except winning the nomination and beating Obama!
I'm sorry you guys got punk'd today. It was cruel and Palin should have done something to clear the record. It's obvious she knew about it since the hosts talked to Todd on the phone about it.
Look, as everybody knows, I believe that Palin will either not run or mount a "non-serious" run (no staff, no funding) like Newt has done.
Although I do think she is toying with her supporters, I do believe she really cares about them and would not deliberately hurt them.
In my opinion, she probably knew nothing about this stunt. The Joe McGinnis book just came out and her cell phone was probably ringing off the hook for comments. I believe that she just turned off her cell phone, turned off her computer, turned off her TV, turned off her radio, went camping and shut out the world for the weekend.
In my opinion, she does not even know about this stunt yet.
