Imagine how pleasant the world would be and what the 24 hour news cycle would report on if nothing was said or mentioned about Sarah Palin for one week. Well, a Palin reprieve from the spotlight sounds like Eden to me.
The world is calm. There is a peaceful silence falling on a happy society. Oh the glory of not hearing a screeching hoot owl. This wondrous moment could be yours if you follow the “Boycott Sarah Palin for a Week” campaign. This just sounds so heavenly, it is almost unimaginable. However, I just know in my heart of hearts that the 24 hour news cycle can not and will not allow this phenomenon, to occur.
There is a movement afloat and it is sweeping the Internet with the sound of heralding trumpets, calling out to the angels of niceness and intellect that maybe they will be given one week of harmony. If you want to rest your eyes, ears and rejuvenate your lost brain cells then mark down 02/27/11 to 03/05/11 on your calendar and go to the link below and sign the petition.

The quote of the day is, “You betcha we’re ignoring her.” For just one week it would be like heaven on earth. The website encourages those who wish to follow their lead to do some of the following, lest we go through Sarah withdrawal:

The above facebook page will give you an opportunity to join over 100,000 others who are, simply put, sick of Palin’s lies and the hatred she instills in her followers.
Each time a person says Sarah Palin, answer them with, “Oh, you mean the woman who will remain nameless in my house for a 7 day period.”
Well, I think you all get the idea here. I put 99.9% of the blame of this woman’s exposure square in the lap of the news media, Sarah loves to hate, yet knows so well how to manipulate. She is a self serving ego maniac with one goal and one goal only. Mrs. Palin is out for the money and glory of and for Sarah Palin. WAKE UP AMERICA! This woman could care less about you and your cares or concerns. Palin is a one woman show, reaping millions of dollars on the backs of idealists, with little to no formal education, because certainly someone who could think for themselves, would never listen to a person of her ilk.
Keeping with the rise of the Palin bank account, it is now out in the public domain that Sarah’s daughter, the lack luster dancer from Dancing Minus One Star fame, has recently signed with a publisher to write her own memoir. Oh please….make it stop. Who buys this garbage?
Just imagine for a moment what Sarah would have done during the turmoil in Egypt. Members of the NRA would have been called into active service and every trailer park in America would become an armed encampment to protect us all from the “New World Order.” Oops, I apologize, “New World Order” is Glenn Beck’s term for the democratic movement in the Middle East. In any event, I think you all know where I’m coming from.
Accordingly, everyone who wants to be free of demons, hatred and out and out lies and innuendos, for the sake of sanity and peace on earth, please, just forget about the Palin name for one week.

It didn’t take, neither will this goofball attempt. Might as well try for a media blackout of Mr. Obama. Govenor Sarah Palin (a private citizen just like you & me) actually gets about 20% more Google hits than the sitting president of the United States!!!

Yet another article proposing that they avoid writing about Palin. With Palin’s name prominently placed in the title, because without Palin’s name no one would read the piece.
Really, Palin should charge them royalties on the use of her name, because she is supporting news-writers all over America, all over the country newsies are able to put food in their children’s mouths, shoes on their feet, and roof over their little heads, thanks to the uncompensated use of Palin’s name.
She is a Christian, and no doubt happy to feed so many, but really she deserves a percentage of the take. Business is business.
I thought Michele Bachmann was supposed to replace Sarah Palin in the consciousness of the nation while Palin was eventually going to fall back and lose support.
Unfortunately nobody told the base of the party.

Liberals are consistent in raising Hell about some supposed sin of the right in preparation for their doing the same but in spades. They telegraph their punches and we should be able to read them like a book. WE can, but since they control the media no one else sees it.
Imagine if the press attempted not to swoon over Obama for a week.

The stupidity of the left is mind boggling. This pissant is so stupid she/he/it does not grasp the simple fact that it is indeed HE who is fomenting hate.
Because of the misplaced comma, I read this as the author intending to say that Palin had "little or not formal education". They probably think that, too.
Just for the record: I am a Palin supporter, and think for myself. I have a BS in Electrical Engineering, with a lot of graduate work. (Didn't get the MSEE because it didn't help my salary any.)
