Ann Coulter has something to say about Fridays Republican National Committee Chairman election, and it isnt favorable about the results.
Big mistake not to re-elect Michael Steele Coulter wrote via Twitter, If he werent good, the left wouldnt hysterically attack him.
Steele lost the Chairman election to Wisconsin Republican Chair Reince Priebus. Steele came in second place in the first round of balloting, with 44 votes to Priebus 45 votes, but lost ground in further rounds of voting.

She’s still around? I don’t know if replacing Steele was the correct move because I hadn’t followed the grievances. I hope this replacement does a good job and we don’t see Obama/Biden reelected in 2012.
LOL! I remember one of the first times Steele opened his mouth, he attacked Rush Limbaugh and the Tea Party Right went crazy (including me); then, to make matters worse -- for Steele -- Thomas Sowell (!) attached Steele for attacking Limbaugh. Loved it!
I dont remember the left ever attacking Steele. I remember Steele defending the lefts attack on conservatives though.
Right
Ann is very favorable of Mitt Romney, too. What’s going on? The GOP often “goes goofy” in the bluer areas of the U.S., and this ongoing trend is several decades old. Ann has lived in Connecticut for too long, IMHO.
>>In regards to the left attacking him, I remember them being brutal.
As they are to any black Republican, let alone black conservatives. I’m really surprised Herman Cain hasn’t caught it much worse than he has. Dems know that if they lose just 15%-20% of the black vote, they are finished.
And that twitter thing just makes it all to easy to post the first thing that comes into ones head...and bounces around there.
The sad part is....people actually think Ann Coulter is a Conservative.
Her attacks on the Obama Eligibility people make her look like a Nancy Pelosi wannabe. Should we be surprised that she supports the neo-Commie Michael Steele....
And, Coulter could use a hamburger or two....and, a clue....
I think she was being sarcastic. It’s not like the left has been attacking Steele.
Coulter wrote via Twitter, If he werent good, the left wouldnt hysterically attack him.
IMHO that would hold true if Steele was white. But Steele is not.
He's attacked by the left just for being a 'Black Republican'.
Steele's ideology (Conservative vs RINO) has zero to do with the attacks.
He's a Black Republican and that's enough.
Dittos RE: Ann
If he is so HOT, howcum I, a news/political junky never heard of him?
All one has to do is look at the results of the last WI election, to know the answer to your question. It isn’t about him, if him is a him. I don’t even know, but I know humility, and I know RESULTS!
You’re right of course. In fact, I like to consider myself a moderate centrist in the order of Ann Coulter.
But it just goes show that you can’t just follow along with her and be right all the time.
Exactly. The left doesn’t attack Steele. Conservatives do, because he’s a whiney ‘they hate me because I’m black’ who promotes taxes, silence on social issues, and spends RNC money like it all belongs to him...
However, I’m long past the point of ever giving a penny to the RNC. Individual candidates only for me.
Betcha never knew the Constitution produces white smoke.
“Ann seems to have forgotten, if she ever knew, what real freedom is. She lives in new York, what can you expect.”
Ann, like Peggy Noonan, needs to move out of NYC and meet America. And maybe get married - single women who stay single eventually want to marry the US Government!
It was sarcasm. Anyone who reads her columns knows she did not like Steele as te RNC Chairman.
And just when did the Democrats ever attack Steele.
I was wondering if the Republican National Party and GOP is readying Reince Priebus for president material like the left did 0bamo.
Ahhh here it is...they’re must be grooming Barbour.
The newly-elected RNC Chairman, Wisconsin GOP Chairman Reince Priebus, was the behind-the-scenes choice of Mr. Barbour, who is considering a run for the GOP presidential nomination next year and can benefit from having his man heading up the GOP’s top fundraising and campaign organization.
It doesn't.
Most FReepers resist Steele because he wasn't conservative enough. I was responding to that notion.
If he was a poor administrator, as well, I would concur in his dismissal.
