WASHINGTON - Sarah Palin, seen as a possible Republican presidential candidate, has paid tens of thousands of dollars for foreign policy advice to a U.S. firm that represents three overseas governments, campaign finance documents show.
While legal, the advisers work as an agent for other countries raises questions about whether Palin is receiving impartial information about foreign relations and could be become a subject of debate if she runs for president or another elected office.
Financial reports filed by the former Alaska governors fundraising committee known as SarahPAC, show that between December 2009 and the end of May 2010, it made seven payments to Orion Strategies.
The firm is a Washington consulting firm founded and led by Randy Scheunemann, a lobbyist who served as a senior foreign policy adviser to John McCain in his 2008 U.S. presidential bid and to Palin when she became McCains Republican running mate.
Controversy over campaign advisers who work as lobbyists for foreign or domestic interests can often blight national political campaigns. At least five of McCains aides quit his presidential campaign because of their lobbying activities.

Nearly three score comments and not a single comment that the author, Mark Hosenball, has worked for Newsweek for years. Huffington should take note on how easy it is to throw tainted bait on FR and then watch the suckers gulp it down.
Pissant, have you ever considered hiring a posting adviser? You sure could use one.
My, my, my--- how we forget who Randy Scheunemann is and how he was the only one of McCain's staff members who stood up for Sarah Palin during the 2008 election and got fired for it (and was then suddenly rehired after the crap hit the fan). He prepped her for the Biden debate and has been one of her closest advisors ever since. And it has been common knowledge that he's Palin's chief foreign policy advisor. In fact, she talks about Scheunemann in Going Rogue so this is yet another epic attempt to make hay out of a non-story.

Your point is well taken except that no one takes pissant seriously on FR since he started is vendetta against Palin.
You need to just let pissant Rant. If it wasn’t for FR, where Pissant can safely indulge his obsession, he’d be another Palin stalker.
or be trying to take over the discovery channel
That’s funny. Just about every GOPer, conservative and moderate alike, came out to support SB1070. And just so you know, it has nothing to do with Amnesty.
Shhhhh, you're going to spoil all the fun if he catches on.
Oh come on pissant, you can do better than that. Your first link is to an article from March and your second link is from an undated article from a source that I’ve never heard of. I assume that most freepers have never heard of that second source either.
Vendetta Schmendetta. More like shining a dose of reality on the coronation crowd here.
The second link is with Univision. It made raging headlines.
here’s Michelle Malkin’s response to the Univision interview:
Open-borders McCain advisor Juan Hernandez approves of Sarah Palins shamnesty straddle

And FWIW, perhaps you can enlighten me of her change in policy since March when she told Greta and America that “I support his (McCain’s) position on immigration”.
Then perhaps you can can enlighten me of her change in policy since March when she told Greta and America that I support his (McCains) position on immigration.
She’s one smart cookie.
Go Sarah!
Maybe that was a moment where he said he was for securing the borders. He flip flops so often.
He said that in his campaign for the 2008 nomination. At the exact same time McCain/Palin was running spanish language ads blaming Obama for helping to kill his amnesty bill. Imagine that
