Open Message to Mr. Beck (self proclaimed historian). Tonight on your TV show you said that you read the Confederate Constitution and I paraphrase "it had slavery written all over it, all about slavery blah blah blah". You are incorrect sir, I did a word search on the document and the word slavery appears "one" time. Everyone can try it for themselves at the link provided below.
CS Constitution

A people may be conquered physically, and the will of some individuals may be broken, but the spirit, the essence, of the South remains unchanged. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Stop it...it's too much...you're killing me.

At the time, breathing. And booting rebel butt from one end of the South to the other. I've no doubt you think he was wrong there, too.

This is going to get me in trouble.Don't worry the Yankee Lincoln Coven loves you. Soon, you will be issued a Lincoln blow up doll, a pack of matches and a reading list that includes Mein Kampf and the biography of Julius Caesar. This is Coven standard issue.
Welcome to the jungle...

I agree that Lee was a very good general. Was Lee a good general? Yes. Was he the best general of the war? No.

No based on your other posts your current obsession seems to be with Michelle Obama in general and her ass in particular. Or is that Mrs. mojitojoe? It's so hard to tell you two apart based on posts alone.
But if you want to check out obsessive, go back a month or two and count the number of threads not related to the rebellion that I post on. Then compare that total with Idabilly's and cowboyway. THOSE TWO are the obsessive ones.

He didn't break any oath. Lee resigned his commission, just as the Several States did. Secession isn't prevented in the Constitution; therefore, it's a right withheld by the ninth, and tenth Amendments. The Constitution is a treaty between the Sovereigns that created it, the States.
As John Taylor said:
The sovereignties which imposed the limitations upon the federal government, far from supposing that they perished by the exercise of a part of their faculties, were vindicated, by reserving powers in which their deputy, the federal government, could not participate; and the usual right of sovereigns to alter or revoke its commissions.

Freedom is worth getting obsessed about. Thomas Jefferson would agree - my tag line speaks volumes. BTW, are you 'enlightened' Northern folk's planning to end your occupation of Dixie some day?

If you mean I lack the loser ancestors that you seem to have, then it's true. But as long as one Lost Causer comes around spewing Southron bullshit then I'll always have skin in the game.

Then, by all means let's have at it, F!@# face. I'm a Proud descendant to documented Rebels to your Union of trash. How's them mint juleps?

There is no need to “white wash” any thing, boy. At least - they didn’t invade, and subjugate a unwilling people. But hey, that’s the yankee definition of Freedom, isn’t it? Always taking what is not yours, and then lying about it for eternity is your motto

From Prince of Carpetbaggers:
After crushing the political liberty of Americans in the South militarily, the victorious North sent adventurers to subvert and control State elections, using corrupt local political sycophants to ensure loyalty to the Republican regime in Washington. Anyone elected with the consent of the governed was quickly replaced with someone more acceptable to the regime.
Stalin - would have been proud of his predecessors, cult Lincoln.
