Dr Ang'awa had worked in Embu, Kiambu, Kilifi, Mombasa, Kakamega and Bungoma and was one of the best known members of the medical profession in the country.
Her father was brutally killed when she was a teenager more than 40 years ago, but Lady Justice Mary Ang'awa has opted to forgive his killer. During her reflection at a recent meeting to plan the 40th anniversary of the death of her father, she had no qualms about offering a pardon. "I have forgiven you," she says is the message she has for the killer of Dr James Ang'awa.
One of the pioneer medical specialists in the country, Dr Ang'awa was hit on the head with a blunt object on Tom Mboya Street by an unknown assailant.
A police inquest cleared a suspect who had been arrested although Justice Ang'awa is not convinced the decision was the right one. "My father died a painful death. Investigations and inquests were concluded. I and my brothers--Antony, Hillary, Charles and William-- have climbed a steep path to success with the guidance of our mother Perez. So the best thing to do is to forgive the killer," she told the Sunday Nation.
At the time of her father's death, Justice Ang'awa was a Form One student at Limuru Girls' high school. Her family enjoyed a comfortable life; her father was establishing a reputation for his research into treatment of tuberculosis.
The family lived in high-class government quarters in Upper Hill. Among their neighbours were Dr Njoroge Mungai, former President Kenyatta's personal physician, President Kibaki, who was then minister for Finance and the late Barack Obama Sr, father of American President Barack Obama.
The family was evicted from the house three months after Dr Ang'awa's death.

Great job once again Fred you have the documentation and things are beginning to come together. It’s never easy putting stuff like this together and changes happen.Fortunately, your documentation makes it easier to put together. Thanks again.
Thanks, it gave us all nothing but headaches and for some reason I can’t explain, made us a lot of enemies on FR. The loudest that shouted the longest seem never to have provided an image, a document or a graphic. That’s always made me wonder...can’t they or won’t they use Google? It’s all there, after all.
Today what we will most likely find are uncooperative eye witnesses or more disinformation which we find all the time. so Nerks and others may be doing the best they can do.
LOL! Maybe what I should have written was...It WAS all there on Google, after all. Just today, I went back to check on something, and THREE URL’s were dead. The opposition has been following what is posted here with a vaccuum cleaner...I can hear that sucking sound everywhere I go.
The research done here is some of the toughest around. To find and document so much of what you want is about as tough as it gets.
Even when you do find something that looks good you have to ask yourself ‘now is this too easy to find? Is it disinformation’? Or what is really going on here.
As crazy as it sounds some of the best info you will find is off the cuff so to speak. Found by accident while searching for something else. It's the stuff that wasn't covered up by those who do little else but dis-inform those who search.
FR is about as good as there is when it comes to raw research. Is it frustrating? Unbelievably so. But if its doable it will be done here.
I notice that stuff all the time. Links I have bookmarked simply don't exist later on.
Ironically, the Pinocchio syndrome will bring them all down sooner or later. Lies piled upon lies never work. They are like a ticking time bomb.
Boy, does that ring a bell! I could quote a number of examples like that. It's the mistakes the mouthpieces make and then trip themselves up, that are the true gems. One sits there and thinks...good heavens, how could they have made such a stupid statement!
My all time favourite is the John Hunt statement that has him visiting 'Ann Dunham' at the Seattle address after he had just returned from Utah...it was the time of the World Fair...
And then, right on cue, in another article, up pops some woman named Barbara and she is reading from the same script...word for word. She had spent the afternoon with 'Ann Dunham' and had just returned from Utah at the time of the World Fair...
I almost choked, laughing. Someone goofed and sent the same scrip to two people. Naturally, the John Hunt article went down the rabbit hole. I did post both side by side a number of times, right now the record is buried somewhere in an FR comment.
Here it is, the best repository is Free Republic, I found it on Google!

and the embedded links still work.
The great thing about dealing with dummies is they always self-destruct.
You would need to visit Nairobi to seek this type of documentation. For 99.99999999999999999999999999999 percent of young Kenyan men of David’s time that info is not available online. I did post an article from The Nation that cited the motorcycle accident/death. Whether a newspaper of that size and scope writes up every single traffic fatality in Nairobi is a question only a researcher there on the ground could answer.
The Wall Street Journal (for example) doesn’t note individual traffic accidents. Like The Nation, The Journal cultivates a country-side audience. People in CA don’t really care much about a traffic fatality in NY, so they’re not cited in The Journal. [Also bear in mind when David died he was a nobody. No one in his family amounted to a hill of beans. It was nearly a decade later before Obama began his ascent, and that was the first point at which anyone cared anything about his relatives. [Though even then not much. Only when Obama became a presidential contender did the relatives start to receive any real attention.]
Your other questions also would be best answered by a person in Nairobi willing and able to do onsite research. That’s been my point all along.
Seizethecarp post #1017 references the FOIA documents and makes an interesting point about how the kid would be viewed in Kenya and Hawaii.
My comments on this:
O SR didn’t run afoul of Hawaii bigamy laws because he was a foreigner; that is what the ins folks said in the docs.
But they recognized BHO /SADO marriage in Hawaii.
So in my estimation, in Hawaii the kid would be legitimate.
Thus the docs would be forged there, because he was born elsewhere and couldn’t get citizenship from that country.
From what seizethecarp said, Kenya didn’t allow bigamy, but did recognise tribal marriages.
O SR was already married to Kezia.
He didn’t marry SADO in a tribal marriage though (would’ve it been OK then?).
So no UK citizenship for the kid.
So if kid born there, his mom was too young to convey US citizenship and so kid would be stateless.
Same could hold if kid was born across the border in canada.
Raises more questions; how (passport-wise) did SADO get the kid back to the us if kid born in kenya?
Probably easier for them to come back to seattle from unwed moms hospital in canada.
So looks like the kid at some point (maybe kindergarten age) had a home birth type Hawaii doc done by his mom or granny. And that is what they used to get him on moms passport.
#1017 reposted; grace g asked question:
So does this mean that Obama is officially technically a bastard?
Thread article links to BHO Sr.s INS FOIA documents but omits the explicit claim in those documents that BHO Sr. and Stanley Ann Dunham were married on a date that corroborates the HI divorce record.
See comment #909 in this thread:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3130965/posts? page=909#909
On the record in HI it appears that Barrys claimed parents were legally married and divorced,so in HI Barry would not be a bastard as there is no record that the legality of this marriage was legally contested. The INS notes show a clear intent of INS to contest the marriage based on bigamy IF Sr. attempted to change his status from student to immigrant.
IMO,in Kenya, the tribal marriage to Kezia was legal and bigamy was precluded for tribal marriages under UK Kenyan colonial law. That law has only been changed THIS YEAR to allow legal bigamy.
So in Kenya the Hawaiian marriage would likely have been ruled bigamous and no child of bigamy could become a UK subject...so Barry would NOT have been a dual citizen UK subject at birth...IF he ever claimed UK dual citizenship at birth (there is no evidence of that yet other than a statement made during his campaign).
Greg, I have a real question for you. Namely, who said people thought Obama was the ghost of David? Was that in Auma’s book or Ayers? If it was Auma’s, then I have no opinion. I don’t know if she is honest or not. But if it was in Ayers’ book, then why believe it? What else that he included in Dreams is actually true? Everything that’s actually be checked [l.e.: that is checkable] has been shown to be a lie. Why would he deviate from his pattern, and tell the truth just this once?
Also, what is the theory behind Ayers blowing the whistle on the similarities? Was he secretly trying to alert the world to the grand conspiracy? I.e.: did he have some vested interest in letting the cat out of the bag, that Obama was really David? If not, why mention it at all. None of us knows what David looked like at age twenty. If he resembled Obama, we wouldn’t be aware of it. [As to baby pics, how many people even know they exist or care? So two cousins resemble each other. Who with any media stature is going to give that similarity the time of day? I haven’t even seen an article on BirtherReport or American Thinker speculating that there’s something fishy between David and Obama, much less the MSM. For the vast majority, it’s a nonissue.]

out of the mouth of babes...in September 2010
I remember how, a few days after my visit to Sarahs, Auma and I happened to run into an acquaintance of the Old Mans outside Barclays Bank. I could tell that Auma didnt remember his name, so I held out my hand and introduced myself. The man smiled and said, My, my-you have grown so tall. Hows your mother? And your brother Mark-has he graduated from university yet?
At first I was confused. Did I know this person? And then Auma explained in a low voice that no, I was a different brother, Barack, who grew up in America, the child of a different mother. David had passed away. And then the awkwardness on all sides-the man nodding his head (Im sorry, I didnt know) but taking another look at me, as if to make sure what hed heard was true; Auma trying to appear as if the situation, while sad, was somehow the normal stuff of tragedy; me standing to the side, wondering how to feel after having been mistaken for a ghost...

This statement is meant to separate [me] from [me]...
I’ll make it simpler. The Nation strives to be a newspaper of interest to all of Kenya. Its most closely modeled American counterpart is USA Today. [Though people familiar w The Wall Street Journal’s national outreach will readily grasp the parallels.] USA Today rarely if ever chronicles local traffic fatalities.
It is the difference between a local paper and a national newspaper. I’m not surprised you missed the point by a mile; that is all too typical.
