Dr Ang'awa had worked in Embu, Kiambu, Kilifi, Mombasa, Kakamega and Bungoma and was one of the best known members of the medical profession in the country.
Her father was brutally killed when she was a teenager more than 40 years ago, but Lady Justice Mary Ang'awa has opted to forgive his killer. During her reflection at a recent meeting to plan the 40th anniversary of the death of her father, she had no qualms about offering a pardon. "I have forgiven you," she says is the message she has for the killer of Dr James Ang'awa.
One of the pioneer medical specialists in the country, Dr Ang'awa was hit on the head with a blunt object on Tom Mboya Street by an unknown assailant.
A police inquest cleared a suspect who had been arrested although Justice Ang'awa is not convinced the decision was the right one. "My father died a painful death. Investigations and inquests were concluded. I and my brothers--Antony, Hillary, Charles and William-- have climbed a steep path to success with the guidance of our mother Perez. So the best thing to do is to forgive the killer," she told the Sunday Nation.
At the time of her father's death, Justice Ang'awa was a Form One student at Limuru Girls' high school. Her family enjoyed a comfortable life; her father was establishing a reputation for his research into treatment of tuberculosis.
The family lived in high-class government quarters in Upper Hill. Among their neighbours were Dr Njoroge Mungai, former President Kenyatta's personal physician, President Kibaki, who was then minister for Finance and the late Barack Obama Sr, father of American President Barack Obama.
The family was evicted from the house three months after Dr Ang'awa's death.

And you still haven’t found a single person who knew the Ndesandjos when Mark was a kid, and who affirms your conclusion that ‘Bobby’ David Opiyo was a hoax.
Publications that affirm David have been found, including The Nation newspaper of Nairobi/Kenya. But no publication or anything else supporting that idea that David never existed has been located.
If you locate someone who actually knew the Ndesandjos in the mid sixties & seventies, and if they back your contention that David is a myth, please let me know. That will be extremely interesting.
Promise. You’ll be the first to know. He was born in ‘Dreams’ as being mistaken for zero in the street in Nairobi. You’ll have to work out when that was, it was either in 1983 or 1987-1988 - when Auma told that person, no, this isn’t David, it’s our brother from America, David was killed in a motor-cycle accident. Here’s one more thought on all that. Suppose you went to a Private Investigator. You said, ‘There is a family that lived in Africa in the mid sixties, the seventies & eighties; some of them still live there. They claim to have had two sons, around two years apart. I believe the first son is real and the second son is a hoax. In fact, I’d like to prove he is/was a hoax.
‘Now, there are two options. One, I can study a series of online photos, and draw my own conclusions.
‘Two, I could go, or pay someone to go for me, to the hometown of this family. I could check, or have checked, the vital records, the newspapers, the libraries, the police [for an accident report], friends and acquaintances of the family, school records and cemetery records.
‘Which do you advise?’
You just won’t find a reputable PI who will tell you the best way, or even a viable way, is to study online photos. To find out the truth, you, or someone else, is going to have to visit that hometown. That is the only way to know for sure.
In David’s case people have already done this. If, however, you don’t trust their findings, you still can’t relay on photos. Too easy to mistake live men for dead women. No, the only way is to track the records and acquaintances down firsthand. That is, if you really want the truth.
Brilliant suggestion! I’m sure that eventually, someone from your country will do just that.
You make a good point. Here’s what people from my country can’t do: check vital records in Nairobi without leaving the USA. [Unless an independently wealthy person wants to pay someone like Zullo to do it for them.]
Here’s something else we can’t do. Check any kind of records in HI. They’ve been sealed far tighter than our most vital national security secrets.
We can, however, talk to people who knew Stanley Ann after the ‘60 fall semester at the UoH, right up through the first week of Aug.
Oops; no we can’t. Nobody on earth seems to know where she went after that first semester at UoH. She disappears. One theory is that she’s pregnant and either goes to CA to a home for unwed mothers or else she presages her stint w Lolo, Indonesia and Maya by heading to Kenya and giving birth there.
This would explain not only why no one ever saw a pregnant Stanley Ann; they didn’t see a non-pregnant Stanley Ann either (during that period). They didn’t see her because she was in a foreign country.
I realize your theory is different. But the point is, under normal circumstances, people can check records in the home country, preferably the hometown, of the person they’re inquiring about. Much harder, indeed, in some cases actually impossible, to check someone’s vital records/friends and neighbors from a continent away.
In Obama’s case we can’t check squat no matter where we are, since everything’s sealed off. In SADO’s case a lot can be checked, but there is that pregnant, so to speak, gap of ~8-9 mos where it’s a blackout.
The point being, nothing, ***nothing*** is a substitute for firsthand investigation.

Except Kenya did not allow bigamy, so o SR could not convey UK citizenship to 0.
Since SADO was too young, she could not convey US citizenship to 0 (in the US eyes, she was married, and since O SR didn’t apply for residency, the ins didn’t pursue the bigamy investigation ).

I cannot but agree with that observation, and when that someone does go to Kenya I am certain they will also have no trouble at all in finding the little boy named Barack, the child Malik said he played with in Nairobi, and when he grew up, taught school in Uganda, again according to Malik.
Only problem they might have is getting hold of the audio in which those statements were recorded. That portion of the recording has kindly been removed:

Unless Malik made a mistake and was really talking about David. Who died in 1984, according to HIS website. But why would Malik confuse the name of his ‘brother’?
A trip to Kenya? Didn’t do Corsi much good. Not while Raila Odinga was in charge. That’s the son of the man who went to Moscow and watched the May Day Parade with Kruschev, and picked up lots of scholarships to the Patrice Lumumba Freedom University in Moscow, while he was there...for promising young Kenyans, including his own son, named after Fidel Castro.

Mark knows when David died. He says it was in ‘87. Many other reliable sources say the same. Don’t ask me to answer for anything Malik says. He’s the one who came over here and committed fraud with that fundraising site he set up. So a dishonest man is dishonest—or, if you prefer, can’t keep his facts straight. Why does this surprise anyone. Firsthand research has unearthed a lot of info re: the Obamas and the Ndesandjos. It’s certainly more reliable than guesswork and conjecture.
Okeydokey. I get it. You’re suggesting that after all this ‘firsthand research’ it’s a waste of time asking any more questions? So to make you happy, I’ll drop it, and hope it goes away.
That’s not exactly what I’m saying Fred. We all ask questions. When it comes to Obama, we all have way too many questions. My point is the one I made most clearly in post 865. Namely, that under normal circumstances the only reliable way to get definite answers is via firsthand investigation. Sometimes, as in the case of Obama, it doesn’t work. Everything is sealed off. But in an average case it does work. The local library likely has good resources, as would routine public records. When you’re local, you can even inquire about cemeteries and similar locations and check them out too.
In the case of David, nothing beats talking to the friends and neighbors of the family. This, incidentally, has already been done. A great relief to me, since a trip to Nairobi is out of the question. If you don’t trust the answers that have already been collected and recorded, you can’t substitute theories about a photograph. It’s apples and oranges. Apples being the fun of making guesses and theories about online images; oranges being tracking down actual people and public records related to the party in question, so as to amass evidence and draw a fact-based conclusion.
It’s become boring. I’m dropping it. Anything to make you happy and get you out of my hair. Finito. Fini. Finished. Life beckons. I’ve got litter trays to empty.

I’d be convinced about David’s existence if somebody provided a convincing copy of the newspaper story that MUST HAVE accompanied the fatal motorcycle accident in Kenya. Maybe the Nation has one in its archives? Can someone explain why Mark inherited but David didn’t? He was still alive when their father died. He’s supposed to be buried with his father in the family plot. Where’s his tombstone? Death certificate? I won’t dare ask for his birth certificate. You know what kind of trouble that causes.
