I know that these days I live my life around being in the sun some every day. I built a porch/greenhouse this summer and was sitting out there in the sun with the dogs today. I even get irritated about having the shades closed at all during the day.
I spent almost 10 years in Seattle, very low cloud cover and nonstop rain, but now since we moved back home (our 7th year back) it’s breaking me, it must be old age.
I resolve to totally get tough, I made a promise to myself that no matter how bad things get, whether from this sickness or another, I will die on my feet, at home with my family. Not saying I’m dying or anything, but just had a friend that did and it got me to thinking, I don’t want to go like that.
Anyway, enough of this depressing talk of mine, I see others go through this around here and it helps just knowing that.
Thanks everyone ...

Me, too!!! Cold, short days and long nights are so dang depressing and I’m in sunny Texas! Very pretty, sunny day today but it’s 35 degrees. I HATE it when it gets this cold. At least when it’s sunny and bright that always helps me from getting too blue. Also, I dress very warmly in long johns and coveralls and get outside for a daily hour and a half walk with my dogs. I would be on a downward spiral if I didn’t do all my little daily tricks to stay upbeat.
