OK — the timeline is not right. Maybe he glassy eyed stare was from nausea from morning sickness. In any case, if whe were “knocked up” (as you so delicately put it) she probably didn’t know it yet. Typical time frame for a woman to realize she’s pregnant in the late 1950s-early 1960s was THREE MONTHS. That is when her fears were realized and the doctor could make a diagnosis. No EPTs in those days. She’d only be 6 weeks along in the photos.
But what about missing her period ???
That’sa why I said she was ignorant ...
Either she had irregular periods..or didnt know much if she was “late”
especially if she had been drugged or drug in order too z’performZ” during the “episodes” and didnt know what had been done to her...
And then again there is the fairy tale that still prevails today...

and maybe not even the 2nd or 3rd...
