Yes it is interesting. They also point out that just because a statute states that some one is a natural born citizen (NBC) does not imply that he or she is such a person for constitutional purposes.

Clearly a child born in the US, and subject to US jusrisdiction, whose parents are both US citizens, is NBC, beyond that it is all a bit murky.

Winston Churchill’s mom was American and His father was British. He was not born in the US.

So if 0 was born in Kenya does that mean that Churchill was a natural born American too? Could Churchill have run for the US Presidency?

Now, that's clear thinking, and utterly rational. I will posit that every country on the planet considers the matter of citizenship in that same light.
