What I’m wondering is this:

IF...

(pay close attention to the IF part!!!)

the document is true, and he was indeed born in Kenya, then

Can any plausible argument be made that he is a “NATURAL BORN CITIZEN”?

I’m just playing devils advocate here..

Positing that he was born in Kenya and that his mother never bothered to register him as an American citizen born abroad, then there's no plausible case for him to be considered any type of citizen --- he would be in fact an illegal alien.

No. Under the law in effect then, she had to have been 19 years old.

the original, since this is a copy, most probably stated he was a subject of great britain. this doc would be a source of pride for his father. many probably had these reissued for that purpose.(assuming its real)

Yes there are arguments which could be made. The issue has never been definitively defined as it pertains to the qualifications for president.

I *think* that the answer is "no". Either he'd be a Kenyan citizen or he's be a dual citizen until adulthood, then he could choose to be a US citizen exclusively. (Dual citizenship.) If the latter is the case, he'd be a "naturalized citizen", not "natural born".
