Orly needs to get this document into the hands of some expert doc examiners to verify its authenticity, I would think.

Maybe she’s already done that. We’ll have to wait to hear the story of how she came by this, chain of custody, etc.

Interesting that the only signature on it is from a deputy registrar.

The document is also called a “Certified Copy of Registration of Birth”. It’s still not a birth certificate.

Notice that there is a reference below to “the Birth Register”, with this entry being recorded in “Book 44B, Page 5733.”

This appears to be a Kenyan version of a COLB. No doctor listed, or attending nurses or physicians, no birth particulars, etc. Very similar to the Hawaiian COLB.

Overall, is as good or better than the jpeg image of the Hawaiian COLB, and the FactCheck photos of the “same”.

I think the revelation of this Kenyan COLB is going to stoke the fire on the bc issue in the coming week.

It says Certified Copy of Registration of Birth because it is Hawaii acknowledging a resident of Hawaii registering a child born elsewhere.

Orly needs to have it authenticated by more than one forensic document examiner, just in case she, uh, slips on a banana peel, suddenly begins driving recklessly, or feels “depressed” enough to commit suicide. “Accidents” happen, ya know!

You may be wrong on that. This might be as good as it got in Kenya, at the time. Remember that the large majority of Kenyan births would have been at home, unattended by any health care professional.

She has already done that or she would face disbarment for knowingly presenting a document as fact in a suit when she was not sure of its authenticity.

all she has is a photograph, she is seeking an injunction to get the original one and stop any tampering.

The way it worked in London in 1982 and 1984 when my daughters were born there is probably the same as Kenya was when Obama was born there. Within a short period after the birth the father is obliged to go to the local registrar and record the birth in the BOOK registering births. Then the registrar types up a certificate (like the one copied here) after the birth is recorded in the book and gives the parent a copy of the certificate. That is it. After that, one is obliged to go to the embassy and register the birth with the consular office.

Obama’s Kenyan Birth will officially be recorded in Book 44B. It is a government record book in the Coast Province of Kenya.

It looks similar to my old 1931 Danish Birth Certificate, and later copies. We don't use nurses or doctor's signature in Europe (?) (Scandinavia) to make it a Long Form Birth Certificate

For cripes sake you cake take any baby into a hospital in any state likely, produce a breathing baby, and get a “Certificate that you have a LIVE baby”. What horseS^*t!! This has been the BIGGEST SCAM EVER perpetrated upon the United states EVER. Still, the KOOL-AID drinkers and certain websites, “verify” it. Sad but laughable. CO

I’m thinking it’s a COLB because of the “Birth Register” and it’s dated Feb. 1964. So, it looks as though someone made a request for the BC and the authorities looked it up (referring to Book 44B, Page 5733) to find when the original birth certificate was registered with the Kenyan government. But it still refers to an actual birth certificate issued by Kenya at the time of the birth in 1961.
