Yes, but something like birth certificates would be printed on forms, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility, knowing that they would need a lot of them, and to make them consistent, they would all be stamped with the Republic of Kenya the minute they started issuing them. This is so obvious! I'm sure they immediately started ordering the forms needed became independent in 1963. The official ratification was a formality. No different than when we (The US) ratified our Constitution years later.
You know, that’s kind of what I was thinking.
Why print a ton of forms that say “Dominion of Kenya” knowing it’s just a matter months before all your forms will have to be reprinted as “Republic of Kenya”.
