I’ve still got to get online at the lab and do a Lexis-Nexis search of “Republic of Kenya” and “Dominion of Kenya” in pre-internet publications. So far there were only about 1800 references in Google to “Dominion of Kenya,” most of these repetitions, versus 160,000 for “Republic of Kenya.”

From what I read the DU’ers hadn't noticed that the document wasn't the original...but a photo ..of a certificate that stated they had an original document.
