I was an ardent Thompson supporter, a dedicated "Fred-Head", when he left the race I was a little uneasy about all the remaining canidates, (some more than others). I decided Gov. Romney was the one I "could live with". After watching his speech at the CPAC, his presentation, his emotion, his obvious conviction, I was sold. Mitt Romney is the future of the "Reagan Revolution". His sacrafice of personel gain for the good of the party, the good of the country.....then McCain couldn't even show up to support his president or his party in the senate on the stimilus package vote, even after Obama and Clinton made the trip to support the Dem's in the senate. NO Governor Romney showed me that day at CPAC that he truely is the future of our party and our, belief's, more importantly, "our country"
Dude your like, blowing my mind man...
You signed up in FR to post this vanity about RINO Romney ???
Let's see what he does to further conservative positions in the next 4 years.
zzz...
If Joe Isuzu Romney is the future, we’re dead.
Welcome to FR.
I’m sure Romney will have a future in the party, but I don’t exactly think he’s Reagan incarnate. He has to do more to show he has changed from his liberal past. Actions speak louder than eloquent words.
When the future comes ‘round again, vote for him.
The future what? If you mean conservative, then that would be a large change from his present...

Hey n00bie, go to bed, it’s way past your bedtime. Come back tomorrow and repent for posting this garbage.
If ‘the future’ means that the Republican party is relegated to the tiny minority comprised only of smitten women and awestruck Mormons, then I’ll stay here in the past, thanks.
I'm not even touching on his politics at all. I think he could wipe the floor with Hillary or Obama on the issues of healthcare, "a new start" vs. "entrenched Washington interests" and all that. Not saying I agree with his positions, just that he could demolish them...ON PAPER.
He just doesn't attract interest. One can mimic Reagan's policy positions closely, but without his ability to communicate, you're dead in the water.
and the future can be anything you want it to be!
Romney’s speech at CPAC was fantastic!
“Romneys speech at CPAC was fantastic!”
Did he make you swoon and drool, Jan?
Welcome to FR. Don’t mind the Romney haters (some are bigots, some are just idiots). They have Romney Derangement Syndrome already.
