I've never posted a straight Vanity before.
But I am sick and tired of this good conservative, generally religious site being overrun by people posting "I'd hit it", whenever a picture of a good-looking girl is displayed.
It's demeaning, it's immoral, and I guess I'm just a prude but announcing to the world that you'd like to have sex with a woman based on her picture, like she was some object, hardly seems like the appropriate attitude on a conservative political site.
But rather than post in response to any particular person, I figured I'd just vent here where everybody could see and make fun of me.
So go ahead. I thank you for whatever indulgence you have given me in this rant.
Back to your regularly scheduled oggling and hitting.
We have to go to the store to pick up our orders, but it’s not far from the Petsmart, where we often have to get crickets, worms, dead mice, and other tasty reptile treats.
I had a nap with Frank, and it poured rain a good part of the afternoon.
I wish it would rain here and get it over with. I’m so tired of the crikkety-back ol’ lady thingy.
Does Susan like them with Pepsi?
Pepsi tastes good with almost everything!!
That “almost” is like, huge!
(That would be “HUGH” in FReepspeek...)
I don’t do that. I have other faults, though.
I know your faults, Bob. And, {bully for me) I enlarge them when I can.
Susan has not indicated a taste for Pepsi.
She’s right to be cautious.
It’ll burn the hair off your head.
I’ve never tried washing my hair with it.
But then you'd still need to wash your remaining hair.
Keep a young woman the missus and I just found in prayer.
She spun out on wet roads with a Pontiad Sunfire, wheel locked, car stalled, facing the left shoulder in the left lane on a highway.
A truck driver, a mechanics son, and myself pushed her car to the shoulder.
She was badly shaken.
She’d completed at least two full rotations before stopping.
She’s heading to Brewster NY to pick up her boyfriend who is home from deployment with the Navy.
She has at least four more highway exits to go before she gets close to her destination.
(Roughly forty or more miles.)
I didn’t ctch her name, but we’d arrived to her immediately after she came to a stop.
Lucky for her it was the three of us or she’d have been toast.
You rock, Darks!! No contest!
Not I, but those who were there as well.
I couldn’t have gotten that car to teh shoulder without three others helping.
The trucker, the mechanics son, and someone above keeping traffic from creaming us to jelly.
I said that because without people like you, my accident would have been fatal. You never know what your “mission” is in life. My accident was 40 years ago, but without the folks who called for help, you’d be hearing from a ghost writer!!
So, Darks, thank you, and thank you!
(GREAT, GIHUGEOUS HUGS!!!)
*d’oh*
Hadn’t thought of that.
We did offer to drive with her to the next exit and have her sit and relax for a few minutes before heading on.
She declined, so now we’re worried.
Like I said, she was badly shaken.
Do what you can do, and never mind the rest. The Lord will take care of it all.
I know that those who helped me were enemies and friends. Still, they knew me, and didn’t wish my death.
Whatever you can do for whoever is always counted. The Book Of Life is always read.
I’m gonna regret trying to push that car soon.
My back is screaming “Fool!” at me already.
(I just got done with a chiro appointment too.. The doc is gonna kill me.)
Like I said, it’s not what I did, it’s that there were more than just me there.
And thankfully so.
Had I not had friends at the VFW Club at the T intersection where I had been hit, I would have been a DOA. As it was, a friend who had an immense crush on me demanded that I be taken to the nearest hospital, because I “could NOT die!”
My angels were working overtime!
