The DNC is already booking his ex-wife for the talking head shows.

Godspeed Rudy.

Uh oh, beware of the Clinton meat grinder! Rudy's the only one who has any chance in grabbing NY from under Hitlery's a$$!

If it comes down to Rudy vs. Hillary, how many of us will sit at home and let Hillary take it by default?

The time to promote the kind of candidate we truly want is in the primaries.

Congrats a51,

Good deal for you and America.

How's he gonna do it though? He needs $100M and he probably has a good $95M to go?

Obviously, this was to be expected.

He would definitely beat any Democratic nominee - but part of that is because he is as socially liberal as any Democrat.

The best outcome that conservatives can hope for is that he will lose the nomination to a conservative and then he will campaign aggressively for the conservative nominee.

I do not want Giuliani picking the next justice.

I have an open mind but like I say everday. Anybody But McCain.

If no one can step up to the plate who is conservative and beat McCain, then Rudy is the choice to beat McCain.

I have no qualms about it.

So if a real conservative can't "get it up" by next January, it looks like Rudy is the man to defend liberty and defeat McCain.

I like Guilinani, and I like Hunter.

Both have qualities I admire, and both would make fine candidates in the general election.

Thankfully, I've got a few months to make up my mind between the two.

I am hoping that Duncan Hunter can gain the necessary traction...

But, if he cannot... I will vote for Rudy.

Why? Is it because I agree with him on everything. No.

It comes down to this, and alot of Freepers dismiss this.

1) I like him. Personally. I like Rudy.

2) I believe he will prosecute the war on terror.

3) I believe he has enough appeal to bring Independents on board.

4) Much is said about his baggage. Who doesn't know it? He hasn't heard about his messy divorces, etc. Does it bother me. Yes... it is discomfiting.

To me, too many freepers are looking for the perfect candidate. Every thread posted about a candidate is littered with reasons why he will never be elected. No one is perfect and if perfection is our goal, we should just go home. Sometimes I feel as if I am in a fairy tale. This one is too liberal. This one is too unknown. This one is a Rino. This one will bring about the destruction of the country. WE CAN ONLY VOTE FOR THE CANDIDATE WHO IS RUNNING! So, until the Stepford Candidate comes forward, it would behoove us to stop tearing each candidate to pieces and when we are through with the candidate each other.

BTW (not directed at you)... If the behavior of a poster can turn you off to a candidate, shame on you for being so easily influenced. Stand up for your beliefs and your candidate. If you can do that without resorting to name calling - then welcome to adulthood. (feels good to get that off my chest)

Good! Now that we have finally sucked him into the campaign, all is fair. The second cousin ex-wife should make good stories for the press.

At the moment, he is our best hope to deny Obama or Hillary the White House. Let's put it this way - out of the following, which do you think can best handle the power to blow up the world - Rudy, McCain, Romney, Hillary, or Obama?

Rudy stands out from the rest.

Regards, Ivan

Rudy's biggest mistake at the moment is believing his own polls.
