According to a source close to The Giuliani campaign, Rudy Giuliani is throwing his hat into the ring. The Hinzsight Report confirms, through a source close to the Giuliani campaign, that he is presently sending people out into all 50 states to secure his name on the primary ballots. "Despite Mayor Giuliani's public cautiousness, this is evidence that he is seriously pursuing the Presidency in 2008, and he should be taken very seriously. Critical state polls have shown Mayor Giuliani leading the pack, and it's about time that he start being considered what he is--the front-runner" a source tells The Hinzsight Report. Giuliani has lined up nearly 300 key Republican supporters in New Jersey for his bid for the 2008 presidential nomination, his campaign announced this week. In a recent Quinnipiac University poll of New Jersey voters, it showed Giuliani leading all Republican presidential candidates and ahead of Sen. Hillary Clinton, the leading Democratic contender, in a head-to-head matchup. The New Jersey primary, which is currently set for Feb. 26, is likely to move up to Feb. 5, placing it early in the campaign season and increasing its significance. As many as 15 states could hold their Republican presidential primaries Feb. 5, reports Gannett. |
Thank you for your post.
I will vote for the GOP nominee in the general election.
That said, I would have voted for Rick Santorum all the way. Unfortunately, he's not running.
In a nutshell, this tells you my opinion on candidates and what they stand for.
Now, it comes down to winning which is defined as: no RAT President, especially Hitlery bringing Willie back to the WH.
To avoid a RAT president it comes to a very simple vote: VOTE GOP, period.
I detest McPain but I'll still vote for him if he wins the nomination. If you notice, I have never threatened or mentioned staying home or going third party because if I do, its the equivalent of voting RAT.
You heard the above argument before and as you know, even if all of us vote for our candidate in the general election, he can't win without some Independents and Conservative Dems voting with us. It's a matter of numbers, fraud and what have you.
Bottom line is: I want a GOP President and Congress and I'll do my part to accomplish this.
We can't lose in '08 just to prove a point. The stakes are too high to take chances. IMO, Gambling with the future of this country in a crucial time is too dangerous to contemplate.
Have no fear, Newt will soon be here.
I wish Rick would run!
We read it and acknowledged it. But remember he did not say we could not post Rudy threads. So if he decides we can't we will abide by it. So there is no need to remind us.
What they're doing with spam is pushing people toward Rudy; freepers have openly said that openly on these threads which has me LOL'ing.
What's been quite interesting is to see that the forum rules clearly have a lot of wiggle room depending on what cause is being supported in relation to the violation.
GO RUDY
LOL, he is running for office and pandering. He disobeyed the law as Mayor on immigration. He sued gunmakers, showing his contempt for the Constitution. He is a liberal. He lies.
So far, the campaign is based on, "vote for me, I'm better than Hilary". I'll be damned if I can see how.
but... but.... you're from Georgia! Rudy can't win the South </sarcasm>
That's right since DH is a 'conservative' he dosen't need any money, he said it, I hope he believes it! :)
Im pro-choice. Im pro-gay rights, Giuliani said. He was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions. No, I have not supported that, and I dont see my position on that changing, he responded. RUDY GIULIANI (R), FORMER MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY: I'm pro- choice. I'm pro-gay rights.KING: Giuliani supports a woman's right to an abortion, and back in 1999, he opposed a federal ban on late-term abortions.
GIULIANI: No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing.
KING: Immigration could be another presidential landmine. Back in 1996, Mayor Giuliani went to federal court to challenge new federal laws requiring the city to inform the federal government about illegal immigrants.
JEFFREY: He took the side of illegal immigrants in New York City against the Republican Congress.
KING: Giuliani opposes same-sex marriage but as mayor, he supported civil unions and extending health and other benefits to gay couples. He also supported the assault weapons ban and other gun control measures opposed by the National Rifle Association.
GIULIANI: I'm in favor of gun control. I'm pro-choice.
Republican Big-Wigs Support Pro-Abortion Event in NY
Pro-abortion Governor George Pataki and New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who also supports unrestricted abortion, are co-chairs of the 2000 Choice Award Presentation to be held on May 30 at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. The event is sponsored by the Republican Pro-Choice Coalition, a group that is campaigning for the removal of the pro-life plank from the Republican National Platform.

(Just a backhanded defense of my guy you know...)
I got an invite. I know.
Because they are GLAD the Democrats are in power now; they actually think they control the party now!

Well, if Pat Robertson says Rudy is the one, then that seals the deal for me! /S
