According to a source close to The Giuliani campaign, Rudy Giuliani is throwing his hat into the ring. The Hinzsight Report confirms, through a source close to the Giuliani campaign, that he is presently sending people out into all 50 states to secure his name on the primary ballots. "Despite Mayor Giuliani's public cautiousness, this is evidence that he is seriously pursuing the Presidency in 2008, and he should be taken very seriously. Critical state polls have shown Mayor Giuliani leading the pack, and it's about time that he start being considered what he is--the front-runner" a source tells The Hinzsight Report. Giuliani has lined up nearly 300 key Republican supporters in New Jersey for his bid for the 2008 presidential nomination, his campaign announced this week. In a recent Quinnipiac University poll of New Jersey voters, it showed Giuliani leading all Republican presidential candidates and ahead of Sen. Hillary Clinton, the leading Democratic contender, in a head-to-head matchup. The New Jersey primary, which is currently set for Feb. 26, is likely to move up to Feb. 5, placing it early in the campaign season and increasing its significance. As many as 15 states could hold their Republican presidential primaries Feb. 5, reports Gannett. |
Up until the '70s people carried on planes all the time without incident. Plus, if each airline has a choice, you could choose to fly on a no-carry airline. Why not let the consumer decide?
Although the subject of hate crime legislation is not directly addressed in the 2004 Republican Party platform it is a well known fact that Republicans blocked the most recent social liberal attempt in 2005 to expand federal hate crimes to include gender and sexual orientation.
Rudy is four-square in agreement with radical Democrats on this important issue.
:-)
It is my opinion that real men do pray!!
Watch the media attack him after he formally declares his candidacy, and all their hypocritical "love" for Rudy will disappear like magic once they view him as threat to Hillary. Come to think of it, our fights here on FR will serve as good experience for the fights we will have when Rudy contends for the White House.
Great news, thanks.
Lots of good news for Rudy. I wonder what their internal data shows. He seems to have the wind at his back and a certain bounce to his step.
I concur. Doing pretty good for a loser. ;-)
Trust me on this one . . . FreeRepublic will not survive a Rudy Giuliani presidency.
Care to explain?
LOL, I got it. No need to explain - I'm bit slow this evening.
Bull Moose Party was Teddy Roosevelt...
The infighting here over his policies would be devastating.
Yes, I realized that.
I hear this rubbish all the time, but the Federal Government is doing things that George III would have blushed at, yet there is no armed revolt in the streets. The reason being, things overall are pretty good, and the people who did take up arms in Montana or Waco got shot by the FBI. The right to bear a rifle or handgun in this context means very little - if you said that you wanted it for personal protection against criminals, that I would understand. But then again that reason would seem not particularly great against terrorists. As for the threat of being killed by terrorists, the vast majority of people in the urban United States don't share your attitude, I dare say. September 11th taught a big lesson - if you want to be ignorant and forget it, that's not my problem.

Read BKO's "Hell to Pay" and come back. Anyone who was here for Impeachment does not want Clinton the Sequel. Anyone sane does not want Clinton the Sequel. If it turns out that it's miscreants on the unreasonable wing of the Republican Party, people who ignore political realities to the point of self-destruction, who let Hillary into power, there's going to be blood on the floor, and the miscreants will be marginalised as a result.
I would hope that you prats are learning from the 2006 election, and what damage is being done to America's image by Nancy Pelosi as Speaker (you look weak, divided and confused) - but it's apparent you have to go whole hog with the arse raping before you realise the problem.

It was okay the US government betrayed Indians by violating every treaty written without expectation of consequence?? For every tribe in America then, they were either forcably removed or killed out without regard to any treatied to the contrary. You need to brush up on your American history.
Let's ask someone who's ancestors experienced first hand the white man's broken treaties.
Stand Watie, what say ye?
I almost majored in math, I can count.
I'll save this thread and resurrect it just in case the Republican Party is stupid enough to run a liberal.
Then when you and all of the rest of the "wise ones" here are bitching and moaning about how the "whining idiots"
helped put Hillary Clinton in the White House by staying home, I'll at least have the pleasure of saying, "I told you so".
You think Jim will close it down?
Actually the voters rejected the social conservative candidates. George Allen lost, Jim Talent lost, and Conrad Burns lost.
