Personally, I prefer Tancredo although I admire "America's Mayor," and this article sheds some light on Rudy's little known conservative and courageous accomplishments.

I think Rudy will continue to increase his lead over Hillary. She does not speak well. Rudy is very articulate and passionate.

I think Rudy can best be described as an Urban Conservative. He was in New York City and had to play up those issues. Bu, most urban Conservatives (like me)have a distaste for most of the more radical (lef and right) sides of these issues. We really consider these as not very important and can take either side as needed to insure result on other things that are important. I really don't think you have much to worry about in a Giuliani Presidency because you will be the squeaky wheel and they do tend to be the ones to get the grease. It will be the reverse where in the past Republican Presidents have the right down cold, But have to suck up to the moderates. this time Rudy would have the "moderates" down cold and would have to suck up to you (we do have to hold things together).

"I would love a Newt/Tancredo ticket."
I'll have to disagree with you there. I think Tancredo is a demagogue and too reckless with his words to be an effective leader. Also, I'm afraid he's itching to run third party which will most assuredly give the White House to Hillary. No thanks.

And in terms of the actual amount of people registered with this sight it was a very small sampling, so it really means nothing.

Thank you! I want to thank you for saying you will vote for the Republican in the general.
I will vote for McCain if he got the nod in the primary and I was one of the original NOT McCain people on here in 1999.

As much as I dislike McCain, if he's the Republican candidate....
I hope we have someone better to choose from, but I plan to vote, and that vote will be for the Republican candidate. I just don't understand the "sit it out" crowd.

like you, i am a prolife Catholic voter, vociferously opposed to Rudy being the nominee, but willing to vote for whomever the nominee turns out to be. i am highly skeptical of rudy's ability to win, moreso since i spoke to a good friend of mine this AM, a liberal Jewish voter, native NYer who would never vote for Rudy under any circumstances. i asked him does he know any Dems who would vote for him, and he replied that his sister and his parents might potentially vote for Rudy, but not if the opponent is Hillary, because she is sufficiently hawkish that they would prefer her over him. i think rudy is a bad choice for the nominee and i think he will not win against a dem if he is the nominee, but i would hold my nose, gagging, and vote for him or whoever else the nominee turns out to be. All of that being said, i don't think Rudy will end up being the nominee.

I don't think he will either. At this point in the race, I have no idea who the nominee will be. It did seem for a while that McCain was the most likely candidate, but we've got quite a way to go.

well like you, i keep hoping that someone new will just walk out of the mists. have no idea who it could be though. if rudy DOES end up the nominee, i think we lose, and that is going to be dang depressing.

Bizarrely, as liberal as he is, the Left hates him because he cleaned up NYC. McCain probably has a better chance.
Anything can happen between now and the election.
