i guess only time will tell. you can dress rudy up in all the fancy suits you want. get him a new haircut and drool over his money chest, but all he looks like to me is a liberal with a big price tag.
no amount of money, tv time, radio commercials or money will make him appealing to me.
but if it comes down to it, because so many "conservatives" think a REAL conservative cant win and wont even be bothered to put forth effort or money to help well then i guess ill have to plug my nose and vote for rudy, but like i said its just the lesser of two liberals.

Ok, it's starting to come back, I was a rapidly fading Buchanan supporter in 2000, although that's not going to go over well on this thread. In my defense, I don't think Buchanan had entirely wigged out at that point.
Lack of principles and a LOT of money has gotten many different people elected and reelected president and who says that Rudy doesn't haves any principles?
One might be careful about conflating one's personal views, with appropriate Constitutional interpretative jurisprudence. Just a thought.
And THAT side is whinging and whining about the "protected" and "in" people here and a change of the rules?

im in my 40s and those i know are in thier 40s or 50s. yes they vote every election and yes they donate. none that i know are willing to compromise thier values based on a price tag. sorry.

A new poll from Rasmussen is out today, and the results are great news for Rudy supporters:
Giuliani - 29%
McCain - 19%
Gingrich - 16%
Romney - 8%
Brownback - 3%
Hagel - 1%
Huckabee - 1%
Other - 5%
Undecided - 19%
Giuliani’s number are more or less unchanged over the past three polls, but McCain continues to see his numbers slide. In fact, the general matchup number are cause for concern for McCain as well (numbers in parantheses are from the last poll):

I don't care WHO the candidate is, nor for what office...if he can't get his message out, sell himself, generate interest,and refute what is said against him, he gets left in the dust. That's just the way it is. It could be another Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, or XXXXXXXXXX ( fill in the blank ), if that person doesn't have money, political backing from the big guns, no real team, he has NOTHING.
Is Hunter THE most Conservative person in the GOP filed? What about Tancredo and Ron Paul and Brownback and Huckabee?

Some think the ballot box still has meaning, silly me, and those that think that way, even those few who are near atheists, in a delusional fit, don't think of themselves as nut cases. Perhaps heavy therapy is indicated for this cohort, so that they can more fully fathom the truth as to their nutter status.

i KNOW it takes money and support. BUT how is he suppose to get that (money and support) when some cannot even be BOTHERED to do it? when theyve decided from the git go that he cant make it? do you see how silly that is?
if every rudy supporter sent money and volunteered for hunter, do you still think his chances would be slim?
