Yes, Rudy Giuliani Is a Conservative
City Journal ^ | Jan.25, '07 | Steven Malanga

Personally, I prefer Tancredo although I admire "America's Mayor," and this article sheds some light on Rudy's little known conservative and courageous accomplishments.

But only if you're pushing something obviously liberal

That should happen fairly often through your lens. Bring it on. :)

That is kind of where I am at as we11. I was mad when he posted it and then tried to say it was /s with a very little /s but I still didn't think it was funny then or now.

You've COMPLETELY missed the whole point!

Money, LOTS of money, is the mother's milk of politics! Without it, a candidate has no chance of getting a good team together, getting out there for meets and greets, advertising, or anything else. You have little knowledge and NO understanding, whatsoever, what it takes to run a successful campaign. I've tried to explain it a bit to you, but you don't want to know.

Have you any idea how much it costs to run political ads on radio and T.V. and how much it costs to make them, to begin with?

A candidate gets to a state a primary is to be held in. Where does he go, who does he see? How does he know where to be and what the schedule is? An d mind, I'm talking about months and months BEFORE the primary is held!

Actually, YOU don't already know where Rudy stands on anything! All you know is what has been posted to FR; most of which posted by the antis being incorrect.

Not everyone has their minds made up now and not everyone is closed minded.

Ask the general populace that! Politics has been a game of WHO LOOKS BETTER for a very long time.

And no, most people do NOT get their info from the net, today. But, IF that is true, then you had better REALLY worry about Hillary because she is the one who is using it THE best, right now.

Send my regards to President Dean, while you're at it....LOL

OH geez, I DO know what it takes to get elected im not stooopid ya know.

im just saying its not the only way and now is not the time to say he has no chance.

grassroots has done alot for politics. rudy could implode, mcain has already fizzled out and were barely getting started!

just because i choose to not think that money, glamour, the right suit, the right haircut or whatever is all that matters doesnt mean i dont know anything.

i would vote for rudy, if its him vs hillary or abama etc, but i wont consider it a conservative victory, just the lesser of two liberals.

nothing wrong with supporting a solid conservative.

he WONT win if everyone decides that oh! lets not even bother, he cant win, because thats just SILLY.

every person, every vote MATTERS. if you act like a defeatest right out of the gate, youll get what you ask for!

i choose to be optomistic:)

STOP LYING and saying that's what I support. Are you in such a habit of lying to get your own way, you don't realize your doing it?

Oh, so now people who have money, or a lot of money, have "NO PRINCIPLES"?

I take it back, you haven't matured at all.

well, most folks i know read thier news paper online (dont want to give the liberal rags more money) or places such as FR.

if this is such a crappy place to get info, why are you here???

look im just being choosing to have high hopes for the one true conservative who is running. it doesnt mean im an idiot.

you really should try making your point without being so condesending and snarky.

Money and principles are not opposites, but Giuliani's big pot of money doesn't make up for his lack of principles.

On another note, I'm still looking through the Browne 2000 threads to see if I bashed Bush. Turns out I didn't post much (nothing so far).

You aren't "stoooooooooooooooopid" ? You DO know how politics works, yet you still post what you have?

Yes, it is early days, but one thing is CERTAIN, any candidate who says that they don't need to raise 100 million dollars, because they're a Conservatives and everybody knows that they are, isn't playing to win. When lots of people, living in his home state have NO idea who he is, THAT isn't very good either.

Don't hand me the "grassroots" line! Yes, the grassroots are needed, the grassroots are VERY important! But the grassroots ALONE, especially when those grassroots are thin to the point of almost nonexistence, won't do much of anything for your cause.

What bothers me is having the right to choose a medical procedure taken away from women, and passed off to a government that is not capable of making moral or spiritual decisions for us.

And, why stop there?

Whatever toxicity exists, could be dissolved with acceptance by the opposition to certain facts of this life.

I am NOT being condescending nor snarky. I am merely stating the facts; MOST people do NOT get their info from reading the the web.

How many people do you personally know and how old are they?

Do none of them have a T.V. or a radio, nor get newspapers?

Do they ALL vote; vote in every single election?
