Personally, I prefer Tancredo although I admire "America's Mayor," and this article sheds some light on Rudy's little known conservative and courageous accomplishments.
There is not doubt they would make a great GOVERNING team. But as a ticket up for election, that would be a train wreck.
Did you see her performance? I call them as I see them.
LOL........or the bald vote!
I saw it. She looked the same as always: cold, aloof and especially insincere.
I would have watched it, but I was out of Pepto-Bismol.
Pinging the Catholic and Prolife list - what say you? Will Guiliani get the Catholic or pro-life vote?
Nobody knows who he is in Raleigh, I can tell you that.
I have calmly explained where those pictures are from, here on FR and the history of American "HAIRY LEG SHOWS", multiple times, but the people who keep posting them ignore those posts. The FACTS don't matter at all to them.
But once again, for the benefit of those here, who might be interested, here it is again...................
The history of "HAIRY LEG SHOWS", in America, goes back to colonial times. They are a standby in all of the elite boarding schools and colleges and even in not very elite schools and colleges as well.
Unlike boys who take the female parts in all boys schools' plays, or even farther back to Shakespearean times, "HAIRY LEG SHOWS" are a burlesque ( not as in a strip show, please look up the meaning of that word, I've too much else to write to give yet another definition ! ), where the male in female attire and makeup is made to look OUTLANDISHLY female, not realistically "female".
It is pathetic and juvenile to use those pictures to attempt to smear Rudy and yes, I would say the same thing about anyone; it isn't because it's Rudy.
Chicago and other cities have the same kind of yearly charity show. Until quite recently, these shows were known about ONLY by those in or attending them and the general, public, to this day, do NOT attend them. Recently they have become public knowledge and some pictures of Rudy have been published. You people NEVER post the ones of him where he rode onto the stage on a HARLEY, though. Why is that? Is it because you can't imply or actually say that he is a cross dresser or a queer, if you posted them?
Texas Republican contributors are being solicited to spend $30,000 for dinner with former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani at the Houstonian Hotel in Houston Feb. 1 to finance his presidential exploratory committee. The private dinner will follow a 6:30 to 8 p.m. cocktail reception, costing $2,100 a person and $4,200 for couples.
The best-known host of Giulianis Houston event is billionaire oilman T. Boone Pickens Jr., chairman of the private equity firm BP Capital Management. Also on Giulianis Texas fund-raising team are Tom Hicks, whose company owns the Texas Rangers baseball team; oil industry executive Jim Lee; and lawyer Patrick C. Oxford.
Exactly!
The rest of your post is dead on!
There are Catholics, and then there are Catholics. Not that it doesn't happen in every religion, but a lot of folks spend a lot of time capturing the Catholic religious moniker flag.
There is a small amount of truth to that statement. Back in a more idealistic phase (starting a business in 1999) I gave money to the libertarians. But since then, I can assure you, I have given straight R, NRA, GOA and various R-run PACs.
Jim,You're going to see something rare for me. A mea culpa and apology.
I had forgotten some of the things that I had said in the past, on another website, out of frustration during a brief suspension and when some of my friends here were banned. In review, I found that I had said some hurtful things in the past about you, out of anger, that were unfair. I could point to the defense that I've made on your behalf and when I tried to defend Free Republic, but that would not make up for the things that I did say.
I posted a link here to my posts on that other website because I didn't feel that I had anything to hide. I didn't remember saying those things because I have no reason to malign you or Free Republic. But, in review, I found that I did say some unacceptable things for which I am ashamed. I apologize for saying them and for any hurt that I may have caused you.
I truly believe in the conservative mission of this website and have tried to stick to that mission since I first signed up in the earliest days of the site. I have expressed deep distress when I've perceived that the mission of the site is being disrupted by persons who have alternate agendas. I have expressed that distress in ways that were shameful and hurtful to someone that I respect. Again, I apologize.
Spiff.
Man, what a ping list. I didn't know you had every single Catholic in America on your ping list?
I saw it and all that was missing was the bucket of fish.
"There are Catholics, and then there are Catholics."
Indeed. And abortion is an anethma to Catholics. Politicians who support killing innocent children are simply beyond the pale.
I know, gay pride celebrations negatively affects my life in so many ways/sarcasm.
CINO and RINO are both terms I know.
