Many skeptics continue to question whether Rudy Giuliani is serious about making a run for the White House, but it was abundantly clear on Saturday that he had come to Manchester for more than the sub-freezing temperatures.
Addressing over 500 activists at the New Hampshire Republican Party's annual meeting as part of a two-day swing through the state, Giuliani sketched the broad outlines of what looks like a presidential run. Sounding at times like a motivational speaker, Giuliani cautioned against cynicism and pessimism in the wake of November's election results and challenges in the ongoing War on Terror. The message especially resonated with the audience in this critical primary state, where the Republican Party just lost control of both chambers of the legislature for the first time since the 1870s.
"The best way we remain safe and we retain our freedom...is remaining on offense, remaining strong and not becoming weak in a time of pressure," Giuliani said in a line that drew the biggest applause from the crowd at the Palace Theater.

You could have fooled me. Ask them how they are treated in the media nowadays.
And then ask if gays could politically be subject to the same approach.
You were the one who had a problem with a quote from 1989, but you've never provided his repudiation of that statement. You've also completely ignored the quote from 2001, if you don't like 1989 how about 2001?
Then take it up with the media, if you think fat people or cig people are unfairly treated. And here I thought Michael Moore was lionized. Who knew?
Thanks!
I don't sanction immoral or amoral behavior in any form, neither is Rudy. I thought I made that clear in my last post. Well, if not, consider it clear here.
The issue, is just whom here did the "unspeakable." Surely not you, surely not I, it must be the other guy! :)
700!
I never thought I'd see the day a Freeper accused other Freepers of being members of the KKK.
Shameful.

So you come back and talk about somebody else that posted from the 80's???
I have said who knows how many times that Rudy is NOT a social conservative. Perhaps you've seen some of those posts? Tell me why you feel the need to point out that Rudy is NOT a social conservative?
See what happens when you try to go back to a normal life? You miss out BIG time!
Why the sudden lock? Why was it moved to the SBR? I'm the type that wonders about those things(s)
So close now!
Me neither, If you see any, let me know...
Thanks.
As long as the Mods don't freak again. Keep it proper. This one could keep going through tomorrow.
I feel left out! :) I couldn't believe it was moved to the SBR. Must have gotten really nasty for awhile.
Ok, proper it is(s)
We work for short-term successes and we work for long-term success. Short-term, elect a conservative Republican to go against Hitliary, long-term, change the culture of death in America.

I picked it up off the main Beam, are we now in the dreaded Closet? the (Gasp) Smokey Back Room?
Last night we were accused of being abortionist and that was left standing -- I wanted lurkers to see just how far over the edge these people are in name calling. Any rationale person reading these threads will see how far out of touch these people are and how rabid they become when you don't agree. This is getting worse than 2000 and almost up to the Recall threads.
Better not use the word 'closet' or we will be accused of some other things! :)
