"Once conservatives get the word, they'll be backing off supporting him".
yep. when i first started hearing rudy or mcain, i was ready to get in rudys corner (dont care for mcain at all).
but the more i read about his record the less appealing he became. aside from the WOT he is hillary clinton with an R.
i also bought into the hype that hes the only one who can "beat hillary" but not only do i think he couldnt beat her, i dont even think hillary will make it.
her own base hates her and conservatvies will come out in droves to defeat her! and theyll more likely do that if we run a strong conservative, rather than another liberal.
Before too long, I think many conservatives will reach the same conclusion you have. We should be nominating the best conservative candidate available, not some northeast "blue state" liberal who doesn't agree with the GOP`s basic platform, a limited govt, pro-life, pro-guns, anti-gay and anti-illegal platform.
Snow/Bush Ohio/Florida Conservative/Conservative
Why not?
