Many skeptics continue to question whether Rudy Giuliani is serious about making a run for the White House, but it was abundantly clear on Saturday that he had come to Manchester for more than the sub-freezing temperatures.
Addressing over 500 activists at the New Hampshire Republican Party's annual meeting as part of a two-day swing through the state, Giuliani sketched the broad outlines of what looks like a presidential run. Sounding at times like a motivational speaker, Giuliani cautioned against cynicism and pessimism in the wake of November's election results and challenges in the ongoing War on Terror. The message especially resonated with the audience in this critical primary state, where the Republican Party just lost control of both chambers of the legislature for the first time since the 1870s.
"The best way we remain safe and we retain our freedom...is remaining on offense, remaining strong and not becoming weak in a time of pressure," Giuliani said in a line that drew the biggest applause from the crowd at the Palace Theater.

Has this Dumper Humpkin guy broke 1% yet?
I think Spiffy is merely parroting Reagan Man about that 'Kerick' deal. They seem to think it will be another major scandal or something.
The average American has trouble remembering who the VP is. And most can't name the Secretary of State. So is another obscure he-said-we-said kind of rumor going to make a bit difference? Most likely NOT.
Hey Jimmy...going to bed. See you tomorrow!
So why do you come on the Rudy threads?
You rascal :-) Have a good one.
Right. Which is why he flaunted the law to keep NYC an open sanctuary city for illegal foreign nationals, and appointed tons of extreme liberals to posts in his administration.
Any conservative that buys what you're selling is either completely naive, or willfully selling out conservatism.
I think he broke 2% two days ago, but the poll had a 5% margin of error!LOL.
Now that he is merely one candidate among what, 25? He's probably back to asterisk status. (Below 1%)
No one is bashing, merely pointing out his positions and indiscretions -- all fair game. And remember, he isn't even a declared candidate!
LOL - he's going to soon. I've been told he will once the word of mouth thing gets going :-)
Actually, I think you lose this one. I posted the qualifications for Rudy that you had been asking for over, and over, and over, and over. And now your going to bed?
I have not posted on a Rudy thread in weeks (you can look this up if you need clarification), and I am not totally on the Rudy bandwagon, but posters like you are pushing me closer and closer. If Rudy wins the primary he is my candidate. I don't like all of his positions, but I dislike your attitude much more. We are all adults here on FR, and although sometimes emotions run high when we are passionate about something, juvenile posters like you are what give Conservatives a bad name.
Good night, sweet dreams, don't let the bed bugs bite (or the Rudy bugs).
"It's a perfectly legit answer and quite brilliant, you should give him credit where credit is due, but I won't hold my breath."
This is a political forum. The minimum legal requirements are not germane to the discussion.
"In fact I am going to copy and save it and EVERYTIME you or any other Rudy disruptor asks thats the answer I am going to give to save my typing fingers as you are all hopeless anyhow."
Next thing you know you'll say your only requirements for President is the possession of a pulse.
Vote for '-', thats the ticket, LOL!
I thought these threads were discussion threads. I was not aware they were closed to people who don't support his candidacy.
I'm surprised there's so many liberals here on Freep, isn't there a moderate republicans forum they can frequent, one that is pro-choice and anti-2nd Amendment?
Ed
Sleep tight my friend!
You are assuming how Rudy feels about the Constitution. I would guess that he respects it.
I would encourage you to work for someone.
