The Candidate (Rudy Giuliani in NH)

Many skeptics continue to question whether Rudy Giuliani is serious about making a run for the White House, but it was abundantly clear on Saturday that he had come to Manchester for more than the sub-freezing temperatures.
Addressing over 500 activists at the New Hampshire Republican Party's annual meeting as part of a two-day swing through the state, Giuliani sketched the broad outlines of what looks like a presidential run. Sounding at times like a motivational speaker, Giuliani cautioned against cynicism and pessimism in the wake of November's election results and challenges in the ongoing War on Terror. The message especially resonated with the audience in this critical primary state, where the Republican Party just lost control of both chambers of the legislature for the first time since the 1870s.
"The best way we remain safe and we retain our freedom...is remaining on offense, remaining strong and not becoming weak in a time of pressure," Giuliani said in a line that drew the biggest applause from the crowd at the Palace Theater.

You have written my thoughts far better than I ever could, so I will say BRAVO!!!
I am not 100% in Rudy's corner (probably 90%, and inching closer by the day), but I am always astonished at the people that don't realize what truly will define our Country in the next decades. If we lose the WOT, gay marriages, abortion, everything will be taken out of our hands and put directly into the hands of the Islamic Fascists. Everyone that is bashing Rudy today will be living under Shia law, which ironically will give them their pro life, anti gay agenda (which I do agree with in principal) in ways they will not like at all. Instead of Thanking God for the babies they will have saved, they will be forced to praise allah.

Lets review history. World War II ended in 1945. SEVEN years later in 1952 the most popular general of the war, Dwight Eisenhower, won in a landslide despite far right extremist unpragmatic Republicans not supporting him in the primaries. . . . and the result was the Warren Court. William Justice Brennan - and that was not an accident, as Ike's Attorney General made clear on a C-Span panel discussion. And Ike loved his Attorney General - thought he was the smartest person he knew.
History always repeats itself. . . and there is real cause to worry about that!

Try looking up the definition of "spamming".
And when you run this site you can dictate what I post. Until then, mind your own business, JimFreedom.

Looks like fatigue is setting in, its OK, post after post you will become more vindictive, angry, spittle will hit the screen, in the end you will have lost and signified nothing, but at least you could borrow a NAPKIN fron you know who to wipe your mouth with.
It's great to be anonymous I would like to see you tell Rudy that to his face.

What the Cultural Warrior Wing doesn't understand is that if we lose the WOT, many of their platforms will be fulfilled, only instead of Thanking God, they will be forced to praise allah.
I am pro life, I think all life is sacred, but we must realize the President of the United States cannot make Roe v Wade go away with a stroke of his pen. Rudy has said that his ideal Judicial candidates are in the mode of Scalia, Roberts, and that he has agreed with President Bush's candidates. Until he proves me wrong, I will believe him.
To: JimFreedom
Care to tell us why you think Rudy would be a good POTUS? Or is that too difficult a query for you?

Do you think that electing a democrat will get you better judges that electing Rudy will? You seem to be hung up on this issue. Apparently you favor a Democrat president. I have no intention of voting for a Democrat or a Giuliani liberal RINO Republican. I think a Conservative Republican will be nominated and will win the 2008 election.

Guiliani, is not a social conservative? DUH, I had no idea.... /sarcasm and another reason I don't support his candidacy.
To: codercpc
There is little possibility a hard core conservative candidate can win with most American voters these days. independent/moderate/swing, etc,,,. The Demographics pretty much substantiate that, according to the intense studies, surveys, etc,,, the voters will most likely choose a moderate no matter how you try to spin it.
As much as I would like to see a strong Conservative win, the Media and their cohorts have Conservative Republicans looking very undesirable.
