Sundance is second lowest.
it's not old.....Pedro and Tabaldo had a yellow line through them...it did not transfer when I copied and pasted.
The new chart doesn't have them listed at all. The yellow line indicates that they were actually voted off.
I'm so glad you said that. I don't get it either. He seems kind of icky to me. Every time he sings he does this weird seizure dance. Usually he sings really fast and hides his suckage, but tonight it was on display for the whole world to see.
He sings as nasal as "Lois" on Family Guy talks.
They are not so accurate this year.
They will get better as time goes on I hope...
LOL! "When I'm not singing, I like to pose provocatively on national monuments. Oh, and my boyfriend tells me I'm not camera-shy at all."
:)
I liked Brandon too. At least he didn't put me to sleep like the others.
I think zabasearch is more accurate. Dial idol gets about 50%
Great minds ;)
Oh....I didn't think about that.
I know. It sounded lesbian-ish--if that makes sense :)
Hi Jonny et al! I've been sitting here reading all your posts ahead of my West Coast time ... and you've all convinced me there is NO REASON I need to watch this show tonight! LOL! Thank goodness for Tivo ... maybe I'll get to it tomorrow afternoon. (Can't miss the girls tomorrow night though- what will happen to Her Royal Skankiness? And I'll have to vote for Melinda & Lakisha.
Does it seem to anyone that this season is not nearly as competitive as last season? As I recall, last year at this time there were already several good candidates, not just a couple.
And I don't think Sanjaya is actually gay, though his hair tonight sounds hideous. He actually seems quite sweet, but goodness knows he can't sing worth a lick. Too bad the tweens will almost certainly keep him on. Yikes.
I'll tell you what livid is....lived is when the bitch was trying to talk with a southern accent....as a native of the south I'm totally disgusted with anyone, Hitlery, any actor, any actress that tries to speak with an southern accent....it's our's and we don't need some Yankee trying to speak with it when they can't....there is nothing more disgusting to me or any other southern citizen that tries to act as if they speak the way we do....and we're damned proud of the way we talk....ya'll...she made a complete a55 of herself and I hope lost all southern votes.....
It kind of sounded like the first few lines of, "If I Were King of the Forest" from the Wizard of Oz. Poor Phil.
Carrie and Kelly both won two Grammys. And Carrie's song "Jesus Take the Wheel" won a third Grammy, but I think that went to the song's writers.
Jennifer Hudson Surprises American Idol Contestants 3/7/07
http://www.celebrityspider.com/news/march07/article030607-13.html
Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson returned to her American Idol roots and made a surprise visit to the show last week (28FEB07) to support this season's contestants.
Hudson made it to the finals of the TV talent show in season three, but she was voted off the program. Fantasia Barrino went on to claim victory.
But, in a bid to prove she has no hard feelings about missing out on the chance to become an Idol winner, Hudson secretly returned to the show to offer the current batch of wannabes encouragement.
The Dreamgirls star says, "I just went to visit the show. I wanted to surprise the kids. I wanted to meet the contestants.
"It was elimination day. I still remember that day. I still get nervous on Wednesdays, because I was always in the bottom three (to be voted off the show).
"So I wanted to go and encourage them. The last thing I said is, 'Remember, it's OK if you get eliminated!' I'm the perfect person to tell them that."
Like genital herpes --LOL!
Simon said (after Carrie sang Heart's "Never" in season 4) that Carrie would not only win, but she would outsell any of the other "idols."
He's going to be right. Kelly has had a 4 year head start on Carrie. By her next album, Carrie will be in the lead.
