I arrange my whole week around this show. Pathetic I know...LOL. I already have the VCR ready to tape as I watch since I watch it again on the weekend. I am A HOUSE #1 FAN. Did I mention I have an autographed picture of Hugh???? My sister worked with a writers mom and got it for me....although not addressed to me. I should of asked for that too.... Very cool! Tonight's a biggy. We get to learn a secret about House. Any guesses?

Elliott did that song right last year. This dude was a lounge act.

Well, Daughtry got less votes than two other contestants too, that's how it went down. Nobody said initial record sales is the only barometer, at least not to me. Taylor wasn't the "wrong" winner since he actually won.
I like Chris but am not looking for yet another Creed/Fuel/Nickelback/Live-type. But to each his own, Fergalicious is selling great too! I still think in the long run Hicks will be around longer than many think, JMHO.

She bought her contract out and couldn't get far enough away from 19E.

is it just me or do all the guys suck tonight? I was thinking that this week reminds me of the first week. Very uneventful.

And he was recently on a reality-type Idol knock-off, but I can't remember the name of it. With Marie Osmand and Little Richard as judges. I guess it didn't make it??

The thing with Hicks is that - like GAiken - he quickly built a rabid base of voters. Unfortunately, that doesn't transfer into a sellable product.
Kelly, Carrie and Daughtry all put forth a product that could be sold. The same can be said to a lesser extent for Ruben. However, Hicks has a limited market to sell records - he'll be back in obscurity in no time.
Then, there's the Burrito - who has zero marketability. She's already in exile on Broadway.

Tell me about it. I lurked on the Libby thread for a while then I just had to go back to playing games online. I'm now a Pogo.com addict.

No offense meant DI - I like country too, I'm just more about the old-school stuff, not the "country-pop" stuff out now. Give me Cash, Haggard, Cline, etc.
