Sundance singing Pearl Jam. First off, I can't believe Pearl Jam okay'd their song to be on AI.
It's okay. About a C. He gets a little bonus for originality, but it's just passable (espeically since everyone else blows).

Wow, I thought he was good. But then, he's likeable, not obnoxious at all.

Well...if only one is voted off this week...Sundance should make it.
Is it one or two??

I think he can be much, much better. But I agree, he's likeable. Sundance and Chris Sligh are the only ones who don't make me want to run screaming for the remote.

I don't think Sanjaya is gay. I know many Indian men who are slight, soft spoken and gentle.
I kind of think he is cute but lame.
and Sundance {what the hell were his parents thinking naming him that} was good but maybe I am tone deaf. I lked the song.
To: Txsleuth
It's two guys... but Sundance has led in voting each week by a wide margin, so he's a verifiable lock.
Along with (New and even gayer, if that's possible!) Sangaya

Today I actually envied the "American Idol public" (as I call them) who have no clue about politics or current events. I was so upset tonight watching Special Report; still screaming over the whole mess. But I shall refrain and get back to Idol...I didn't dig Sundance but then I didn't know the song either.

Sundance Head
Seacrest chats with Sundance and asks him about all the crying last week, mentions that Simon thinks it was done just for the cameras.
Sundance says no, no, I didn't know the cameras were even on me.
Cut to Simon, rolling his eyes. I agree with Simon.
Sundance finally sings Pearl Jam's "Jeremy". Not very good, IMO. Sounds like a bad imitation of the original.
Randy: "Pitchy spots here and there, but ... kinda hot."
Paula: "Pulled it out."
Simon: "I think you went from very good last week, to a very generic bar singer this week. Sounded like you were shouting during the entire song."
