Take Sen Warner off that list. I just heard his speech where he is in full support of this plan. Also it was good to here SC Lindsey Graham say he supports the plan even though it might not be popular. He basically said he doesn't worry about his political future as this is an important issue for America.

Wonder if Coleman is off the list too. sheesh.
That's why we need to get candidates into the primary that can take out the losers and have a chance to win in the general. Rule of thumb -- clean out the rift raft in primaries.
He doesn't have the balls to name them.
Anyway, he would rather use that as blackmail against those senators.

I hope Olie writes his memoirs soon. He is one of our last remaining studs.
Lugar won't commit

(snip)
There are signs that even Republicans are uneasy with the plan. Indiana's Dick Lugar lists the questions: How will the troops be used and what are the objectives?
"How long additional troops may be needed, what contingencies are in place if the situation does not improve," said Sen. Lugar.
I was going to say to take Warner off the list too as I just got an email that he is on board.
Where did you hear this?....
I called Duncan Hunter yesterday thanking him for standing up for our troops in the CNN sniper film matter and for standing up for our President.
I already wrote to the AM to see if they could "edit" the posts, as the names were wrong........duh on me.
Graham is a poodle. McBanes gay poodle.
Wow! You don't want to offend all the brownbeck for president cheerleaders here on FR, do you?
I cannot come up with ten and neither can someone I have been going back and forth with from D.C.
Is Major Garrett right or did he get inflated numbers because Warner sure came out in a hurry.
NY times yesterday...
In an interview on Tuesday, Senator John W. Warner, Republican of Virginia, said he was becoming increasingly skeptical that a troop increase was in the best interest of the United States. Im particularly concerned about the greater injection of our troops into the middle of sectarian violence. Whom do you shoot at, the Sunni or the Shia? Mr. Warner said. Our American G.I.s should not be subjected to that type of risk.
Thanks! WooHoo to remove Warner, given his Navy background.
"Damned straight. If we haven't learned anything, it is the squeaky wheel gets the grease."
Actually, the squeeky wheel gets replaced! Watch.
Don't worry wetback Brownback is with Bush all the way on immigration deform.
Two words - TERM LIMITS
I'm wondering about that too, but I have twice heard that Lott has a list of ten names.
I would hope that Lott can do the job of arm twisting -- the job he won by election.
