It is reported that Senator Lott has a list of 10 names of GOP senators who have elected to stand with the democrats, instead of supporting our own WAR TIME, GOP POTUS.
Brownback;
Coleman;
Lugar?;
Snow;
Collins;
Hagel;
and likely
Voinovich;
Smith;
Two have not yet been named (outed).
.
Republican Sens. George Voinovich of Ohio and John Warner of Virginia also might be persuaded. Warner said he supports the Iraq Study Group recommendations, which strongly cautioned against an increase in troops unless advocated by military commanders.
Check.
Becks?
Check.
Reclined?
Check.
LOL
hehehehehehehehehehehehe
Yes, the parallels between GWB and Wilson are remarkably close. Interestingly, Sigmund Freud (yes, Freud) wrote a fascinating book on Wilson. Naturally, he had field day as he analyzed Wilson's Christ-like pretensions.
Brownback and especially Hagel will NEVER win in 2008. Nor will any other Republican who plans to cut and run.
DeWine was defeated for re-election, and there has no say on the matter.
I bet Arlen Specter is on the list. It's been proven time and time again that the worst Republican Senators are Snowe, Collins, and Specter, but people here keep ranting about Graham and McCain. If freepers spent half as much time last year opposing Snowe, we might have a decent Senator there now.
I would just love to meet him face to face with several of my old unit buddies. Audacity comes easy for those who hide behind their keyboard.
"Brownback can close down his Presidential campaign. Can you imagine this coward as Commander in Chief?"
So, anyone who opposes the President's new strategy is a coward?
Please support the President's plan to send 20,000 additional troops to Baghdad.
In my view, it is vital that the United States be victorious over the Islamofascists in their neighborhood rather than ours.
The "War on Terror" is only a partially accurate name, as we are engaged in a war against Islamic jihadists whose record since 633 has been treachery and murder in furtherance of their death cult's supremacy.
The stakes are nothing less than the survival of Western Civilization with its hard-won freedoms of political thought, religious practice, and economic self-determination.
The rights of women and every minority depends on triumph over Islamofascism.
What ought to be a bipartisan effort is merely another venue for Democrats to attack and Republicans to retreat.
You must be strong in this critical period when popular patience has expired because the denouement requires more than fifty minutes.
Thank you
I have written the president's opponents:
I see you oppose the president's plan to send 20,000 additional troops to Baghdad and marvel that you call yourself an American, having so allied yourself with our nation's enemies foreign and domestic.
As you have no shame, you may have mine: I am ashamed of your treachery.
Please do not pursue the presidency during this or any future cycle.
Thank you
Great letter! :-)
Your personal story is hardly relevant on this thread. You're attacking anyone who brings up Hunter's name without supporting him. It doesn't bother me that you support him. It bothers me that you trash anyone who isn't.
Take two bows, Phil!!!
You may want to check your facts. Hunter would also make a great VP.
There are no Republican running that have a real chance at this point. Many have to much baggage.
I bet Freud would have had a field day with you as well. Your ability to see yourself as a god is just astounding. Perhaps you should see a psychologist.
You're right, I wasn't and the Hunterites have become so fanatical, that if they don't watch it, they WILL alienate everyone else here.
If I posted what I REALLY thought of you, I'd get banned for the language. What I said will just have to suffice. :-)
You must be newbie. Back in the 1990s, I was with the great freeper majority (proven right by subsequent events) who opposed the Kosovo fiasco while the DUummies of that era were promoting intervention and nation building. You argue in terms remarkably similar those DUummies....dare I say that you almost "parrot" them.
It doesn't matter one whit if any senate critter is on the side of GWB. He's the President, they're not. They can moan and groan and hold useless, symbolic votes. In the meantime, our brave troops will be making sure all those limp spined whiners are safe and free to complain and try their best to demoralize them and the rest of the sheeple.
The usual suspects - Brownback show just how conservative he's NOT.
