WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Vice President Dick Cheney's pregnant lesbian daughter Mary will make a "fine mom," President George W. Bush said, sidestepping his past comment that a child ideally would be raised by a mother and father.
Mary Cheney, 37, and her longtime partner, Heather Poe, are expecting their first child, which would be the sixth grandchild for the vice president. Cheney was hired last year as an executive for America Online.
"I think Mary is going to be a loving soul to her child. And I'm happy for her," Bush said in an interview with People magazine.
It reminds me of the Salem witch trials.
We also have the Rosie O'Donnell wing of the Republican party (if they are ideed Republicans)who think the Christians are worse than the Taliban.
The Mark Foley strategy is not a winning position for the Republican party...
Ring the bell, the dogs will salivate...
My son and his wife have trained their dog to ring a bell when it needs to go outside and take care of business. Same principle I guess.
You are part of the Rosie O'Donnell wing of the Republican party who thinks the Christians are worse than the Taliban?
Sorry, Mark Foley is outta here...
Do you hear a ringing, boy am I hungry.
LOL
Hey, is Rosie anti semitic? (you might have a shot, she isn't a jew)
Isn't it strange how so many of the mose vocal homosexual opponents tend to be...ah...shall we say, able to wave like the Queen Mother. Are they just angry with themselves?
Hey, we got Francis to come back and post.
Guess that Pavlovian thing works, he sure is salivating.
Ding!
That's what you see from the Pelican's big windows as you dine. Hard to justify calling that a third world country.
Personally, I think that someone from Tom's camp, under under Tom's orders make those calls.
Why would we want him NOT to come and expose himself as the irrelevant hick that he is?
Sorry, Mark Foley is outta here...
Sexual perversion does not have a political ideology
Some of the others have only one purpose on FreeRepublic - - to bash the Christians...
Some of the Bozos out there can't get past that word God, so they would just piss the entire country away and join the enemies of America; all because they have this polemic need to bash the Christians and do everything in contravention to them. I say screw them and the filthy practices they want to live by. My children are not going to inherit their squalor if I can help it.
Do you remember where Coast Guard Base Miami is (The irony of asking a Cuban-American that)? I always loved the view there.
PS...sometimes following orders is very difficult.
It is called Cultural Marxism...
Hey Francis, still calling the other posters here queers?
How about that Ann Landers thing?
LOL
President Bush doesn't have a problem with Cheney, he knows a few lesbian moms and knows that they are good parents.
Isn't that a good thing.
...and hating the sin and not the sinner.
Glad I checked through the thread first - I was about to go looking for a similar photo to the one you posted (ideally the one with Church Lady and Tammy Faye and her mascara). If the Taliban wing view was truly as popular as the morals police claim, there'd be a lot more folk like Alan Keyes making it past the primary stage (and getting the same dismal results). I'm glad to see that the rank and file Republicans (in polls I've seen) like Giuliani as their favorite thus far for 2008.
Conservatives can be as morally relativistic as anyone else.
Hyperbole is their sole method of argument, besides name calling.
They accuse me and others of wanting to stone people, rip their children away, and so on.
None of which have I advocated in any way, shape, or form. I just don't want homosexuality or immorality NORMALIZED, mandated, promoted, or proselytized.
And, in the case of single mothers (which would include, by definition, any woman not married to a *man*), they should not be allowed to be artificially inseminated. Nope, shouldn't be allowed.
(Gasp! Infringement of rights!) What about the rights of children? To have a father and mother? To be brought into the world without defying the laws of nature?
Anyone who thinks that single women should be allowed to be artificially insemniated and thinks abortion is fine, is a living, lying pile of hypocrisy.
