WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Vice President Dick Cheney's pregnant lesbian daughter Mary will make a "fine mom," President George W. Bush said, sidestepping his past comment that a child ideally would be raised by a mother and father.
Mary Cheney, 37, and her longtime partner, Heather Poe, are expecting their first child, which would be the sixth grandchild for the vice president. Cheney was hired last year as an executive for America Online.
"I think Mary is going to be a loving soul to her child. And I'm happy for her," Bush said in an interview with People magazine.
"LOL! As opposed to self righteous mobs with stones?"
Laugh at yourself.
You're failing to recognize that Mary had repented of her sin and with great joy over her forgiveness, wept at the feet of Jesus.
These two women are now where near repenting of their sin. In fact, by their example they are inspiring other weak minded people to follow their lead.
When they trot out perjoratives against fundamentalist Christians, sometimes I remind them that I'm Hindu...
They remind me of highschool or middle school girls in cliques - the knowing smile, the secret joke unsaid, the ones who have the proper fashion attire de jeur, and went to the "in" parties on the weekend; nodding and winking in front of the hoi polloi.
The joke never was funny; the cute girls lost their looks by 25, the fashions looked really strange by next year...

Look, based on your posts on this thread - I would not be surprised if you supported the subjugation of women...and the *freedom* for men to have as many wives as they want. Certainly that is what has been going on for the last 5,000 years and you said you wanted to preserve it, didn't you? Would you please just give me a yes or no?
Although I am an atheist, there is something to be said about the Hindu culture, especially the Hindu Nationalists in India...
They understand language, borders and culture really well...
