I am a Christian conservative or social conservative. I am Pro-Life. I vote.

Rudy Giuliani is pro-gay, pro-gun control, and pro-abortion.

For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for Rudy Giuliani for President of the United States under any circumstances.

Senator John McCain has waffled on human cloning, has supported experimentation on human embryos, and has attacked prominent Christian clergy because of the, "evil influence that they exercise." John McCain has said of Pro-Life voters, on a public broadcast radio show, that they are, "otherwise intelligent people who say that that's the only issue that will determine their vote." McCain told the San Francisco Chronicle, "I would not support repeal of Roe v. Wade."

For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for John McCain for President of the United States under any circumstances.

The information about cults has been around for decades and decades. It's "old news" (as far as how long it's been there) -- but it's "new news" to those who have never heard about it before.

Christianity, as espoused by the Bible and affirmed by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and by Jesus Christ's words and by His actions on the Cross -- is well-defined. It's meticulously clear and thousands of Christian theologians have libraries of books on it.

It's nothing new -- regardless of the fact that you don't like to hear about it or consider it. That's your choice.

And also, it's my choice to make clear the true and clear Christian position (about *cults*) and how the Christian faith is well-defined.

As I said -- you can get all the very accurate information in the classic work by Walter Martin -- "The Kingdom of the Cults". Of course, my guess is that you'll want nothing to do with finding out the facts of the matter. But, that's your choice.

That sounds vaguely similar to the old Soviet Union calling certain dissenters "psychologically disturbed" because they disagreed with communism for whatever reason (whether religiously so or politically so). They didn't put them in prison, but "re-education camps" instead -- for their own good, of course.

And so -- here on Free Republic -- if one answers various people and says more than another person wants to hear -- now we're "spamming".

I see the "ole mentality" of the Soviet Union is alive and well (at least in some people's minds)...

There's one thing that should be first and foremost in our minds now and leading up to the 2008 Presidential Election and that's who is man enough to step up to the plate and take charge and lead the nation as President Bush did on 9/11. So far there's only one that can answer that call and that's Rudy. The future of America, our safety and support of our heroes in the ME is the most important thing we should consider, anything else is small potatoes in comparison and can be taken care of as they come up.

Giuliani/Franks in 2008 fits the bill for me.

I agree with what you've said in this post except that I would vote for McCain, but he's fifth or sixth on my list. After Rudy, Hunter, Condi, Romney or even Brownback.
