No Giuliani, No McCain
Petition Online ^ | Dec. 14, 2006 | Andrew Longman

Posted on 12/15/2006 7:22:32 PM PST by FarRockaway

To: The Republican Party

I am a Christian conservative or social conservative. I am Pro-Life. I vote.

Rudy Giuliani is pro-gay, pro-gun control, and pro-abortion.

For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for Rudy Giuliani for President of the United States under any circumstances.

Senator John McCain has waffled on human cloning, has supported experimentation on human embryos, and has attacked prominent Christian clergy because of the, "evil influence that they exercise." John McCain has said of Pro-Life voters, on a public broadcast radio show, that they are, "otherwise intelligent people who say that that's the only issue that will determine their vote." McCain told the San Francisco Chronicle, "I would not support repeal of Roe v. Wade."

For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for John McCain for President of the United States under any circumstances.

Sincerely,

So believing that black people are cursed of the devil, women are sexual slave-property, and that god said there was men on the moon are, "beliefs and rituals that are a bit strange"?

Yeah, I'd say that's a bit strange. Some would even call it bigoted.

So you want to defend the group who "over the years" (all 150 of them) from time to time just happened to beleive that black people were sub-humans under the curse of god and that women were slave property chattle? I like the level tones with which you call me intolerant. They soothe me.

Bonnie, Coyote is starting a camp for troubled internet users which uses magnets and warming lamps to align your force fields. Interested?

[The MSM is pushing Rudy because they know he is the only one Hillary is sure to beat.]

I disagree with this. Should these two get their respective party's' nominations, Giuliani would beat Senator Clinton like a stolen mule because Hillary has NO advantage over Rudy on ANY issue in one to one match ups. This is true for the issues of immigration, taxes, guns, abortion, government budget, gays, social security, health care and a variety of other issues. And Rudy would absolutely dominate on the issues of business, law enforcement and especially foreign policy, including the WOT.

Also consider that:

--Rudy has more support from either conservatives or libertarians than Hillary has support from either liberals or progressives.

--Rudy is more popular with the right leaning voter than Hillary is with the left leaning voter and He's also more popular among moderates and independents.

--Rudy is confidant, well spoken, charismatic and likable, while Hillary is shrill sounding and annoying, even to the ears of her supporters, and is incapable of expressing herself cogently when forced to deviate from simple memorized sound bites.

If Hillary is the nominee, the race is her opponent's to lose.

The LDS church dumped its theology about black people some time ago. You need to keep up.

"Are you actually suggesting that this opinion poll means anything? Two f****** years before the election???"

Tell that to the Giuliani-bots who swear that the current crop of meaningless and worthless opinion polls show Giuliani will win the republican primary. It's all in the name now. Giuliani will lose.

What is it about the First Ammendment that you do not understand? We have freedom of religion here and I for one, do not put a litmus test on a candidate's religion, save for Islam, with which, I believe we are at war.

And who's to say that we must elect a Christain, and not a Jew?

As a Roman Catholic, how about I say that all other "Christian" religions are frauds? Remember, up until Martin Luther, ALL Christians were Catholic.

I'm telling you, some of you people are so damn sanctimonious as to be frightening.

[I'm willing to bet McCain goes futher than Giuliani.]

My crystal ball says I should take that bet.

50 beans and a case of beer on Giuliani to go further than McCain.

No, Coyote has been pointing out that you are posting non-cognitive gobbleydigook and following this with the charity of trying to get you to see it.

Because you cannot compete with a quick mind like coyote, your are now trying to get him offed because you can't take the truth which is: you have been posting incoherent, non-logic.

It would be easier for us all if you just recognized that, you know, you were wrong about the whole religion thing and sit at coyote's feet and learn.

The majority of recent sign-ups are making FR look far worse than any of our enemies haves ever accused us and FR of being.

I would NOT doubt that some of them are in the pay of Soros and others. But Bay? She writes better English, than this n00b.

The recent influx of intolerant and uneducated, emotional bigots, is ruining FR and changing it to something that FR was NEVER intended to be.

"Are you a Donnie and Marie fan or are they scammers too?"

Never said they were scammers, and last I checked they weren't running for president.

If you 1) are not living in a predominantly Mormon state or 2) have not researched the Book of Mormon and the history yourself or 3) have not had extensive business experience with Mormons - then I think it will be pretty hard to dismiss what I say out of hand.

Why don't you relate your background, I'll relate mine, and we'll see who is probably blowing smoke.

You said -- "I've dealt with lots of Mormons here in Nevada for 25 years. Their yards are neat, their kids fed, AND they are a vindictive cult. That's just my real life experience multiplied innumerable times."

While I don't doubt that you have had some of these experiences, as you describe, as I said in an earlier post, the "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" is a *cult* -- by definition, from a Christian standpoint.

The is well documented from many different sources and Christian theologians. Mormonism is *absolutely nothing* like Christianity of the Bible.

Check out this one *authoritative source* in order to document that -- "The Kingdom of the Cults" by Walter Martin --

http://www.amazon.com/Kingdom-Cults-Walter-Martin/dp/0764228218/

I mean -- just for one kind of "shocker" for some who may not know -- Lucifer (alias "Satan") is said to be Jesus' brother -- no less. Now, *that* is really "Christian" isn't it (from a theology standpoint, no less)??!!

They have "extra-Biblical sources which serve to give them their "cultic theology" -- and it is nothing like the Chrisianity from the Bible, from the Word of God ("God" as in the "God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob).

Even the great granddaughter of Brigham Young (along with her husband) has spent a whole lifetime documenting the false and lying nature of the Mormon religion. They have ample materials documenting this too. It would take you a whole lifetime to go through all their materials showing the true "cultic" nature of Mormonism (again in the Christian terminology of the term "cult").

Now, while the "people" may be helpful and useful citizens of the United States and work for some of the same "moral values" (in general, and in politics) -- they are *definitly not* Christian -- in no sense of the word.

Those are the *facts* as it pertains to Christianity and what the Word of God says (and not any "extra-Biblical sources).

Regards,
Star Traveler

Rudy Giuliani and Hillary Rotten are both liberals.

Conservatives don't want to be led by a liberal, whether they be a Republican, or a Democrat. We conservatives don't support liberalism. After six years of Bush moving the GOP leftward on domestic issues, I think some conservatives are confused. They see Rudy as a viable candidate. They're ignoring his liberal record as Mayor of NYCity, and everything he's ever said and everything he's ever done, during a long career in the public spotlight. Rudy`s support for abortion on demand and his opposition to a partial birth abortion ban, places him in a moral vacuum. Not to mention his support for more gun control, an assault weapons ban, special rights for homos and amnesty for illegals. Rudy can't be trusted to uphold traditonal American values that we conservatives believe in. Period. And just like Dubya, Rudy believes in the power of government.... BIG GOVERNMENT!

Oh gawd,...... a Mormon would bow to the elders. Lord have mercy. We heard the same about JKF would bow to the Pope.

You really need a distemper shot or maybe a tampon.
