No Giuliani, No McCain
Petition Online ^ | Dec. 14, 2006 | Andrew Longman

Posted on 12/15/2006 7:22:32 PM PST by FarRockaway

To: The Republican Party

I am a Christian conservative or social conservative. I am Pro-Life. I vote.

Rudy Giuliani is pro-gay, pro-gun control, and pro-abortion.

For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for Rudy Giuliani for President of the United States under any circumstances.

Senator John McCain has waffled on human cloning, has supported experimentation on human embryos, and has attacked prominent Christian clergy because of the, "evil influence that they exercise." John McCain has said of Pro-Life voters, on a public broadcast radio show, that they are, "otherwise intelligent people who say that that's the only issue that will determine their vote." McCain told the San Francisco Chronicle, "I would not support repeal of Roe v. Wade."

For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for John McCain for President of the United States under any circumstances.

Sincerely,

I'd sign the tancredo petition...I just can't figure out how to get two-ply to run through the printer.

Thank you for that. You are so dead on.

A liberal Republican will not beat Hilruh. If you are going to get a liberal, most Americans choose authenticity. McWayne and JulieAni are fakes, liberals hiding in conservative clothing. True conservatives won't vote for them. We have to knock them out early to give the real people a chance.

You'd prefer a guy like Bob Dole or George HW Bush who are milder Republicans, sure-fire winners, right?

1) Amensty for illegals.
2) Campaign finance reform is a codified assault on freedom of speech.
3) He has stated that it is foolish for a voter to base their vote on the pro-life issue, then claims to be pro-life. If you believe a baby is a human being and killing them is wrong, it is not foolish to vote anti-murder. But if you are a pro-life legislator who claims to vote your convictions, then you say that your pro-life opinions may not influence your vote, you are promising that you are are anti-murder but won't necessarily vote against it.
4) He twitches all the time.
5) He will allow human embryo research
And I'm sick of writing. Could write you pages.

I didn't say I would vote for any of those 'isms' because of those 'isms', I said I am fine with people believing those 'isms'.. I will vote the issue, and if it happens to be a Christian, Mormon, Jew, Buddhist, Hindu.. then so be it..

The difference is it is highly unlikely you would EVER find a Muslim, Satanist, Wiccin, VooDoo practitioner who hold our values..

I'm done listening to people who demand I support liberal republicans while simultaneously attacking conservative republicans.

I am an atheist and I am pretty tired of the Rosie O'Donnell wing of the Republican party who think the Christians are just as bad as the Taliban. I agree with the conservatives and also think rotting the country from the inside out isn't helping us one bit...

I don't need to sign the petition. I have already written to both of them and the RNC letting them know in advance that there is no possible chance That I could support them.

Another holier-than-thou conservative who'll hand the White House to Hillary.

"I would have 2nd thoughts these days about a Muslim candidate, as much as I hate to admit it. "

Why in heavens name would you be afraid to admit you won't vote for someone whose religion calls for either converting, enslaving, or killing all kafir infidels? That means they want you DEAD!

If you can't make a simple judgment like that without guilt, how in the world do you tie your shoes in the morning?

If its Rudy vs. Hillary I vote Hillary.

Really? Personally, I would vote for Satan over Hillary as the lesser of two evils. While I would be really unhappy at voting for someone like Rudy who I disagree with about 50% of the time, I would still rather have him than Hillary, who I disagree with and fear 100% of the time.

Know anything about Mormonism? (No)

Think Islamism is a religious belief that has very, very, very bad political ramifications for preserving life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? (Yes)

Conclusion: Facts about religion matter.
Sorry.
