This is directed at those so called "conservative" retards who did not vote for their Republican Senators and Representatives in the few close states, or who voted Libertarian or Democrat.
I knew a country once. It was called "America". "Libertarians" and Republicans who didn’t vote; YOU ARE TRAITORS to that country and your so called conservative values. It’s that simple. And you just handed America to the Modern American Socialist party. Good job. Well done. GO TO H**L!!! I am so disgusted and ashamed of America right now I can’t even hardly type. I can’t sleep either. I can not make myself even process the fact that in a time of war, the most serious and most difficult war in America’s HISTORY, the people of America are so weak and gutless that they can’t support the one single party with the ability to do what needs to be done to win and protect the country.
With a 15 or so seat House Majority and a basically two seat Senate Majority, the country is well and truly f****d for the next two years. The war, forget it. Might as well run up the yellow flag, pull our guys home, and grab and kiss our butts good bye. The terrorists will be gleeful about this election result, and that speaks for itself. The party of weakness and appeasement and talk without action just won. North Korea and Iran will cheer this election. That speaks for itself also.
The Supreme Court? Kiss it good bye for another 20 or more years. Stevens will not finish out 2007 on the court, maybe not even the next few months. And now, with no control in Congress, no real conservative nominee will get to the Senate floor for a vote. To all you so called Americans who didn’t vote Republican but CLAIM to be conservative, how’s that feel? How’s it feel to know that a couple hundred thousand of you geniuses just guaranteed that the Supreme Court will have more gutless milk toast moderates like Kennedy making decisions instead of people like Scalia and Thomas and Roberts and Alito? Does it feel good? STUPID B******S!!!
Say goodbye to a Congress that will fund a proactive aggressive war against terrorism, fighting far away before it hits home instead of reacting after it hits home. Say goodbye to tax cuts. Say good bye to border enforcement. Say good bye to limits on abortions and embryonic/fetal stem cell research. BILLIONS will now be wasted on bad junk research which will provide no cures, but will help protect abortion and human cloning. Say good bye to a good strong growing economy and healthy job market. The Democrats will have their way with all those things like a convicted sex offender at cheerleader camp.
Oh, and before I forget, The voters in Virginia and Ohio and Missouri and Montana are the STUPIDEST MOST RETARTED SHORT SIGHTED INBRED MORONS on the face of the stinking planet!!!!! This was not about Democrat numbers. This was about a few hundred thousand people who CLAIM to be conservatives, who either voted Libertarian or didn’t vote or voted Democrat. All three groups of those people are NOT conservatives and as far as I’m concerned, those pieces of trash give lip service about their supposed "conservative values" and then when it’s important, they chicken out, or have their little ego trip pitty party because the Republican party isn’t like Burger King; "If I can’t have it my way I just won’t vote for Republicans". I haven’t had a lot my way in the GOP but they’re the only game in town that can win that’s going to even try to do things that I like at least most of the time. How the STUPID STUPID people in those states, ESPECIALLY VIRGINIA, couldn’t see that. I’m just stunned.
You voters who claim to be conservative, and so concerned about America not being a liberal wasteland, but didn’t vote Republican in those close states you blew it!!! You just pimped out America because of your stubborn arrogance and insistence to have it your way or not at all. I would really like to hear from SOMEONE in those states who didn’t support their Republican Senators or Representatives, and tell me PLEASE, do you think you’re going to get what you want, anything you want, from a DEMOCRAT MAJORITY that YOU created in the House and Senate? You’re going to get a retreat on the war, higher taxes, wide open border, NO legislation to secure it, moderate Judges AT BEST, endless federal funding for abortion and failed science embryonic/fetal stem cell research, well fare programs galore, and a stagnant economy and job market. That never happened with a Republican Congress, even with RINOs in it. And you think the GOP spent too much? Wait till you see how much the liberals spend now that they have their sticky fingers back in the honey pot. They’re going to quickly fill up their 12 year hunger to have power back. Good job. Millions of Americans who voted for Bush in 2004, in just two short years, have become totally disconnected from reality. They swallowed the lies about Iraq hook line and sinker. Taking the Virginia Senate race as a good example of how badly things went tonight, compare the 2004 and 2006 exit polls.
Registered Republicans composed 39% of voters in both elections. 95% of them voted for Bush in 2004 and 93% for George Allen today.
Self described conservatives made up 38% of voters in 2004 and 36% today, and broke for Allen even more heavily than they had for Bush - 85% for Bush, 87% for Allen.
Registered Independents composed 26% of voters in both elections. In 2004, they favored Bush by 10 - today, they favored Webb by 9. A quarter of the electorate swung 20 points in 2 years. That's huge.
I looked up Missouri and the numbers are just about the same. More self described conservatives turned out, they broke for the Republican even more strongly than in 2004, and it didn't matter because moderates swung 22 points towards the Dem.
It looks to me like when it came down to it, the turnout machine worked, conservative voters held their noses and held up their end of the deal pretty damn well. But swing voters don't owe Republicans anything. They don't agree with us on every issue, or necessarily even most of the issues, so the threat of Democrats winning doesn't scare them. Give them sleazy politics as usual without an overriding message to vote for and they will vote for someone else. We did, they did, and let no one say they didn't see this coming years ago.

That they are. We'll see what unemployment and job growth and GDP are at in a year after the Democrats send up all bills to be signed. When the economy and war tanks, it won't be Bush's fault since it will be the same President, just a different Congress.

But his post reflects my gut feeling that it wasn't the base that changed its vote it was the squishy middle, the moderates/independents. IOWs retards who go which ever way the wind blows.

Seriously, this is absurd. Yes, I did just go to the funeral home yesterday and then the funeral today as they prepared to bury this little boy. I watched my daughter and everyone of her classmates struggle to hold it together and fail miserably. I waited to see my daughter afterward because I had the most wrenching and terrifying need to touch her and hold her. I watched his 2 year old baby sister tell people he was sleeping, knowing this baby will probably not remember her big brother. I watched his mother get up in Mass and read letters she had written to him as baby. I watched and witnessed and felt grief at it's most gutteral and deepest point possible.
And then there's you. You with the bold letters and caps and temper tantrums of someone so self-absorbed it scares me. Each and every person I saw today held themselves higher and with more dignity and courage than you apparently have in your little finger. Grow up doesn't even come close.
Yes and I'm sad to see it like that. I had such high hopes for his Presidency. But he had a part in ending the GOP Majority also. Him and weak leadership in the Congress since DeLay was run off for a non-crime, and voters who didn't think RINOs were less bad then liberal Democrats. I disagree with ALL of them. There's a lot of rebuilding to do. Maybe in a couple years the real conservative movement can take back the Congress like in 94. Bush will have a brutally rough two years now. It will be really ugly.

For conservatives, we can't stay alive for long without a conservative president. This is what I have learned from this. We need firebrands, people who are unafraid to lash back. We need fire and all we have had is smoke. New fresh blood. Made myself express the frustration I see with our party. If we were going to conduct a war, we needed livewires to defend our opinions. Not weak kneed old farts.

Those here who claim to be conservatives and seem glad the Congress went Democrat make me wonder. The people picking at me for speaking my mind haven't exaclty been saying they voted Republican. They just disagree with me.
