It sometimes takes a large amount of data to beging to offset the large amount of denial that happens on these threads.
Smoking in nursing homes is a serious safety issue that cannot be ignored.
All raycpa's little list proved was that people with oxygen tanks and dimentia aren't being supervised very well in some nursing homes. Quite a few of the people were smoking where they weren't even supposed to be smoking and no ban will prevent idiots from being idiots. These incidents would have happened anyway even with a ban. So we make responsible senior citizens suffer with rules that won't prevent idiots from being idiots, but hey they are 'evil' smokers so let's take away all their rights.
