You're right. It was never about Terri Schiavo. It was never about her rights. It was never about the government's proper role of upholding our laws. It was all about her estranged husband's desire to kill her, her parents' desire to take care of her, and the government's interference in her right to live.

Live? What quality of so-called "life" did she have? Her brain was GONE. Her personality was GONE. Her memories were GONE. Her head was full of cerebrospinal fluid and decayed grey matter. The conscious person who was Terri Schiavo ceased to exist back in 1990. If I was in her condition, I would not want my body to be kept alive.

No problem. I just want to be sure others realize you're making up "facts" to suit your agenda. Whatever your opinion of her, or her quality of life, your disdain is no substitute for facts. She was alive, and aware. Those facts were undisputed by the doctors who examined her. Some of them disagreed about her level of awareness, but they all agreed she was aware. Dead bodies are not aware.

For what it's worth, other than your rather pertinent "loony right" comment, your comments have been well measured. It appears your detractors have been more caustic in their remarks than you have, and I certainly don't believe there is any reason for your remarks to have you banned.

Crist is a Howard Dean Lib - against offshore drilling, for civil unions, for amnesty for illegals, all of it. Yep, there's going to be a lot of pouting going on from voters who didn't do their homework.
