You're right. It was never about Terri Schiavo. It was never about her rights. It was never about the government's proper role of upholding our laws. It was all about her estranged husband's desire to kill her, her parents' desire to take care of her, and the government's interference in her right to live.
Live? What quality of so-called "life" did she have? Her brain was GONE. Her personality was GONE. Her memories were GONE. Her head was full of cerebrospinal fluid and decayed grey matter. The conscious person who was Terri Schiavo ceased to exist back in 1990. If I was in her condition, I would not want my body to be kept alive.
