A question:...
What would Jesus have done if He were at the hospice whenTerri was being denied food and water?

I didn't know there were hospices in Galilee.

Do you think that man is replacing God's will, by artificially extending life, with medical science? Is it a Godly activity, or an act of defiance? Is it only delaying the inevitable?

How many people are kept "alive" to keep their family members and friends from being upset by their loss? That is selfishness personified. It isn't about saving life, and it surely is the antithesis to trusting God.

It's all about your feelings, friend! God is still in control, no matter how many Terri Schiavo's die in a bed, or however many babies die in abortion mills, or however many people starve today throughout this sinful world! You focus all this attention on one dying person, but ignore the rest of the LIVING. That is what the Samaritan story tells us! Enjoy your air-conditioned churches, and your padded pew tomorrow! I will.

Have a nice mutual-admiration society day! I do appreciate your prayers, if you are Christian brethren and sistern...

He would have either a) healed her completely; or b) taken her hand and led her Home.

What he would -not- have done was perform any action that would have kept her in her debilitated state for one minute longer.

If you are a Christian, then you must believe that he was, indeed, there. Surely, if Jesus exists, he heard all the prayers said on Terri's behalf. Yet, nothing changed. Terrie is dead.

Could Jesus have stopped that? If you are a Christian, you must believe that he could have. He did not.

And that's the bottom line of that. If you are a Christian, you must believe that Terri's death is God's will.
