Illegal aliens get great health care but Americans with insurance are subject to Futile Care Laws or judges can order their deaths.

Terri was the first disabled person in American history ordered to die by a judge in the United States.

Judge Greer will be held accountable by the rule of law that he claims to know something about. He's the blind sheik of lawless justice.

Well, that's a connection, but doesn't seem strong to me. BTW, thanks for all your work on this very sad and frustrating situation.

Thanks for the article.

How tragic that many of our so-called leaders how shown such perverted support for illegal aliens (all criminals) yet uttered not a word in support of Terri.

The worst part was the betrayal, the abandonment of Terri in 2005. Her life was worthy in 2003 but in 2005, it wasn't. This made many walk away from grassroots politics altogether. Some may never vote again. Others have changed parties and some will be changing parties. It's too soon to measure the damage done to our political system.

Terri's barbaric euthanization was frustrating, maddening and sad.

It's a matter of helping new cases now. Terri's legacy produced a large internet network that remains largely in tact.

When I find it, I think it's important that freepers call Florida House member Dave Simmons to demand that Judge Greer be impeached. The future of the GOP depends on it imo. As long as Greer is on the bench and is not held accountable for the willful, malicious way he handled Terri's guardianship file, he is going to hurt the GOP. He's a corrupt republican and how can republicans not just get this over with?

IMPEACH GREER. There are grounds.

The project goal: expand Hospice utilization among Medicaid patients with a "life limiting illness" while reducing expenditures in the state Medicaid program via cost saving treatments.

Uh huh. When you go through your savings, any profit from selling your house, and end up on Medicaid...look out!

So, is MS a nursing supervisor, or isn't he? The article states at least twice that he "claims" to be a nursing supervisor.

I'm sure as we speak that the Sheriff dept. is swapping out hard drives on all computers. Let's face it, most everyone sends at least a couple of non official email from their work station. Let's face it, these folks are so unprofessional, I wouldn't be surprised at what an examination would yield.

I see our fine feathered friends joined the thread almost immediately :-/

It was 107 yesterday in the CA high desert. The altitude is approximately 2800 ft in Victorville/Apple Valley/Hesperia. What is the daily temp of the lower desert where these illegals crawl through our border? Pregnant women, sick men, infants and children. Even the healthiest will eventually succumb to that kind of heat. The snakes are out of hibernation. Ooops. Do we as a country allow people to not only wreck our infrastructure, take jobs away from Americans who need them, but allow them to die in awful ways on American soil?

I think it belongs here on this thread. In my opinion, it shows the growing callousness towards human life in favor of the almighty dollar.

North Country Gazette reports trouble!

It's the judges who have become out of control, a runaway judiciary, abusing their position and power to intimidate the public by legislating from the bench, making the law up as they go along. The law is what I say it is, is their position, not what the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, says it is. Apparently Mr. Alcott endorses judicial activism and wants to ensure it continues and that's not a good thing.

Alcott even goes so far as to blame the Schiavo case for the long overdue public awakening to the judicial tyranny that exists in our Republic today, personified by the icon of judicial tyranny, Pinellas County Court probate court judge George W. Greer. The Schiavo case was a showcase of what's wrong in the court system today from the local courts to the state courts to the federal courts.

Op Ed from the Washington Times...

But "party of death" is not exactly a Ponnuru original. As he explains, the words are an adaptation of liberal (and pro-choice) philosopher Ronald Dworkin's honest summation that "abortion...and euthanasia...are both choices for death."

Judge defends judges...Judge Whittmore was terrified last year, too, about us terrifying radical Terri supporters.

He rattled off a string of incidents that occurred last year: The murder of a Chicago judge's husband and mother by a disgruntled litigant. The oral attacks - led by congressional Republicans - against a Florida judge who ruled that Terri Schiavo could be removed from her feeding tube. Conservative commentator Ann Coulter's suggestion that U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens should be given "rat poison" for voting to uphold Roe v. Wade. (Coulter later added it was only a joke.)

And an e-mail death threat that Jones received shortly after the Dover ruling caused him to seek U.S. Marshal's Service protection for the first time.

We DO understand what you do. That's why we have lost all respect for the judiciary.

Annie was just trying to help. Rat poison can be good for you, unless you're a rat. (I'm not prepared to say with any certainty whether Mr. Justice Stevens is in danger on that point.)

It is named for the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation. ... Warfarin was originally developed as a rat poison, and is still widely used as such, although warfarin-resistant rats are becoming more common."

Warfarin is scary stuff. It dilutes the blood all right, but an emergency, an insult to the head, or such can cause the capillaries to burst and it can kill.

But it does wonders in bringing rats to room temp.
