If the Republican National Convention chooses Tampa, we'll have a giant Justice for Terri Rally in 2008.

As soon as it is a done deal, plans can be made. Freepers should stay in Pinellas and make reservations asap. We should have a freeper pow-wow, maybe at the park where we held Terri's LAST BIRTHDAY before they killed her.

Katherine Harris (she knows something about the party elites. They are also responsible for what happened to Terri.)

"I will be beholden to no one but the people, not the party elite, not the press and certainly not even doing what's popular," said Harris, who is seeking the Republican nomination to run against Democratic incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson. "I'm going to be doing what's right.

RINO on the bench protected by fat cat republicans.

Please ask Tallahassee's Dave Simmons to impeach Judge Greer. It's long overdue. I asked him in person while Terri was still hanging in there. He told me "Terri would be a martyr." Well, okay. But, Greer is still a judge. We asked for Terri to be rescued and for Judge Greer to be impeached. DAVE SIMMONS didn't do either. He's the head of the House Judiciary Committee. Seems like he's not a man of his word by not impeaching Greer. He said he would.

Unfortunately, he was truthful about Terri's demise. The feds rescue was cancelled the Monday after Easter concurrent with out mtg with Simmons. Simmons KNEW the feds cancelled Terri's rescue when we met w/him in his Orlando office. There are FIVE WITNESSES that he promised to impeach Greer. Is he derelict in his duty for being less than truthful to constituents being that he's the head of the judiciary committee? Does anyone do what they say in Florida politics? Only if it's something bad do they follow through.

would allow for a state to murder an innocent woman

How can you murder someone who was already dead? Terri died in 1990. Get over it.

In South Africa, a 28-year-old man who had been comatose for three years after an accident has awakened. He even talks and recognizes friends. He had been in a persistent vegetative state since 2003 with massive head injuries after being struck by a truck. After Zolpidem was prescribed for him, he awoke and his brain function began improving. He's given half a dose of Zolpidem in the morning and again at noon which keeps him awake eight hours a day.

That sounds promising. Terri could have perhaps benefitted from this drug. I say perhaps, because I don't believe she was truly PVS, just neglected. It wouldn't have hurt to try, in a more just world. This could mean a world of difference to so many people.

As for Greer, he doesn't appear to have a conscience. Imo, and I'm pretty rusty on Shakespeare, Lady MacBeth's conscience was haunting her for her evil deeds. It is unheard of, at least to me, for a judge to comment on a case he presided over. To make jokes about it, is cause to kick his ass off the bench.

That was a pretty powerful article. She's right. Sometimes I feel like a frog in a nice warm kettle.

Trusts set up in Florida to protect wards are anything but trusts. They are money laundering networks. If the operators of the trust is challenged, what is their rebuttal? "I had a Court Order." That's how it's done.

This what I have tried to convey to my regular tax guy in an email this morning. I wasn't allowed to choose my own accountant to go over the books and work with me in an official capacity. End result, I find out that I owe the IRS, and that the idiot accountant(crony) submitted the wrong paperwork to the IRS, which means my tax guy is going to have to fight to fix. They made me sound like I was in business for myself, and not just a family member who was executing a will.

The financial institution which was chosen, the attorney, and the accountant, besides the temporary conservator, milked my parents estate for every nickle they could get.

I've certainly gotten an education from this nightmare. I hope others can prevent this from happening to them and their loved ones.

To answer both posts together, Coates might not be as stupid as Rice, but he follows the "protocol" in this particular Law Enforcement Agency. As far as Rice and Crist go, they can want all they wish to, but it's ultimately up to the voters. There are a lot of people who will remember what happened to Terri, Martin, and a host of other people. It's not over yet.

President Bush is driving me nuts with his stance. Actually, we have coyotes up here, real ones. I think the human ones would be better described as scum. Oh yes, let's make everything warm and fuzzy. Don't worry about the blatant inhumanity being practiced in your own country, the land of the free and the home of the brave.

BAH!

>> Get over it.

Here's some bad news for you (and for Michael Schiavo). People NEVER "get over it." We never forget great injustices. We never lose our interest in unsolved mysteries. There will be no peace for Terri's killers, not now, not ever. Live with it.

I remember the Wilbur Mills/Fanny Foxe swim very well, was in DC at the time. A bit earlier I was in France, hitched back to DC on a congressional airplane and it happened to be the Wilbur Mills junket plane. Wow, what a deal! It was filled with personal stuff and we didn't even have to worry about a customs check at Andrews, were just rushed through to awaiting cars. I could have brought in an elephant. (or donkey)

He was Mr. Junket.

I remember in Bankok we didn't have all that much access to news, but that was many years ago. There have been countless updates since 1990 on Terri's condition in the ensuing years. Much of it can be found on our Terri Daily threads which you have just found.

You will find the threads are long and filled with cross references, facts, and evidence and in keeping with the spirit of Freerepublic which is decidedly Pro Life. They are interrupted occasionally by interlopers who are here by mistake, or who intentionally try to disrupt.

As you can see in the post I am about to make, it has a picture of Terri at two years after the attempt to kill her. She was doing fine. We also have a lengthy audio of medical experts discussing her condition throughout. It is very difficult to conclude that she was not the victim of a nefarious effort to have her put to death from the time Mikey won his malpractice lottery.

We wish you well in reading and learning.

Eschew denial.

From National Review Online, by Ramesh Ponnuru...

Excerpt:

...................

John Derbyshire has written a long attack on pro-lifers, my book, and me. Opening lines: “Can Right to Life (hereinafter RTL) fairly be called a cult? This is a point on which I cannot make up my mind.” It is, I suppose, to Derbyshire’s credit that he does not pretend to be “personally opposed” to abortion or euthanasia, but rather straightforwardly argues for them.

He does, however, get some of his facts wrong. He writes: “Some people would say that a writer who refers to embryos as ‘the young,’ to Mrs. Schiavo as ‘disabled,’ or to the framers of the Fourteenth Amendment as having carefully pondered its implications for abortion, is just plain dishonest.” Derbyshire is making three accusations here, and none of them is true. Although it might be reasonable to refer to embryos as “the young,” depending on the context, I don’t do it in The Party of Death

Unreason

History will certainly find that she was murdered by her husband. If you (and Michael) want to date it to 1990, keep in mind that he's the only suspect.
