It's not an issue of jamming the lines for Taylor.
All night the fans have been heavier by about 30% for Taylor over all.
Yet, looking at actual raw votes. Some how Kat is getting more added officially as his are not getting added.

The details say his votes are not posting and that his people are getting more than double the busy signals than those voting for Kat.

This suggests to me that somebody limited by far the band width for the votes going to Taylor and have rigged the contest if the numbers are true.

:) I won't shoot LOL. But I do appreciate SirLinks, Wolfstar, commish and Hetty's commentaries of the night's performances because they all have a musical ear. Something I wish I had. :(

I didn't mean to sound nasty or unkind before, sorry if it came across that way.

Their personalities seem to be similar. Both worked hard and struggled to find a way to perform before audiences, and they both seem very humble and hospitable. I really have grown to like them both.

Isn't this light hearted distraction from politics fun for a change?

So very true.

From the Dial Idol FAQ's:

What does DialIdol do? DialIdol uses your modem to speed dial votes for your favorite Idols - but it does so much more...

DialIdol measures the busy signal to determine which Idols are getting the most votes - based on the results it can automatically direct your votes to one of your favorite Idols - but not necessarily your favorite.

DialIdol assumes that because one Idols phone line is busier than another's that they are getting more votes. As a result we predict who will be voted off every week.

Folks,

I have a great idea on how to avoid the sucky coronation songs next season ( IDEA PATENT PENDING ).

I propose a parallel show to American Idol while they are doing the pre-Hollywood and Hollywood auditions going into before the top 12 ( that's 10 full weeks mind you ).

The title of the parallel show would be AMERICAN SONGWRITER.

* No limits to entries ( professionals and amateurs welcome. So Elton John or Andrew Lloyd Webber can submit their entry if they like ).

* Instead of the ubiquitous Ryan Seacrest hosting, we ask somebody else to host ( say Brian Dunkelman ).

* The composer gets to pre-perform their original songs themselves (complete with arrangement ) or with an American Idol backup singer doing the honors ( hey, who knows ? the backup singer might even be discovered ). This gives us a "feel" as to how the song will sound like from the REAL and EVENTUAL AI winner.

* Background of the composer and song gets to be part of the show's melodrama each week.

* Panel of celebrity performers get to be the judge of the song based on a set of recognizable and accepted criteria ( of course the judges are disqualified from submitting their own compositions if they are themselves, songwriters). They critique the song but do not VOTE which ones get to be the finalist.

* The 12 best songs get chosen as candidates for the finals to be sang.

* America gets to vote for the top 2 songs.

* During the finale of American Idol, the final two get to choose which of the two they want to sing.

* Composer keeps the rights to all royalites from the song.

WHAT COULD BE MORE FAIR AND DEMOCRATIC THAN THIS ?

YOU DECIDE. THE FREE MARKET WINS. THAT's THE AMERICAN WAY.

BONUS -- WE GET TO DISCOVER THE NEXT BURT BACHARACH.

Wait till you hear Elliott's voice on the Idol Encore CD. It's the best vocal on the CD....IMO.

The part that is disturbing is the raw data where they say what actual votes were made.
That is the crazy part of all this for me.

I think it's a great idea.

Because those two songs were the most congealed prom ballads in the entire world. In my worst nightmares I could not have imagined them in advance.

Drunk Paula is my favorite Paula.

I hear that George Michael will drive Paula out on stage where she will dance to her seat as George passes out and gets arrested again.
