Indeed. If they made $31 billion profit, what kind of gross revenue generates that? While I s'pect the recipient of the largesse could have survived with a bonus of, say, $399 million, if they had reduced it to zero, it would have had not had the slightest scintilla of an affect on the price of a gallon of gas.
