But it should be illegal for those self-identifying as "gay" to buy children (which is, in many cases, what they're doing).

People are not "be gay" any more than any other sexual fetish is a "be". (ie "be swinger", "be leather fetishist", "be animal sex", etc.)
Homosexuality is a learned behavior in contradiction to the normal human sexual interations. It is an alternative BEHAVIOR to the norm. It is not an imutable "be" trait.
