Rejoice - you got the last word. Hope you enjoy and that satisfies you.
What a hollow victory.

Bush just put the Republicrats into the circular file for the midterm elections. I'm not going to vote for either party! I'm sick and tired of illegals coming north and screwing up our social services. Everyday I see them working as cheap labor. Citizens need not apply. Oregon has outreach programs to help them obtain drivers licenses (against the law), food stamps, welfare, cheap housing, car loans, and free medical care. All at the taxpayers expense!

"I don't recall that President Bush ever apologized for the 'vigilante' allegation; I have to assume he still thinks that way, especially given his comments today where he urges 'civil discussion' on HIS idea of 'immigration reform.'" Hmmmm...
Dubya has apologized to everyone in the world...except the Minutemen....
And while we're on the subject of proper etiquette, where was his "thank you" to the Swift Boat Vets" for helping him win the 2004 election?

And while we're on the subject of proper etiquette, where was his "thank you" to the Swift Boat Vets" for helping him win the 2004 election? Here it is:
Bush calls for halt to Swift Boat veterans ads
President calls so-called 527 ads bad for the system
MSNBC staff and news service reports
Updated: 8:03 p.m. ET Aug. 23, 2004
CRAWFORD, Texas - President Bush on Monday criticized a commercial that accused John Kerry of inflating his own Vietnam War record, more than a week after the ad stopped running, and said broadcast attacks by outside groups have no place in the race for the White House.
I think theyre bad for the system, added Bush, who had ignored calls to condemn the ad while it was on the air.

exactly why I posted the article in the first place... nothing has changed (except the border problem has gotten worse)

In his comments a few days ago, the President asked for a "civil debate" on the immigration issue. That is difficult when he has personally set such a negative tone with comments of this nature.
Read between the lines. He was "civily" telling US to sit down and STFU! Blackbird.

Great retrospective.
The man's balls are HUGE when he's fighting a war outside the U.S.; Domestically, he becomes a political eunuch.
There is NO way he wins in 2004 without the Swifties.

There is NO way he wins in 2004 without the Swifties. But hes too arrogant to admit it, or to thank them for keeping him in public housing for four more years.
