If true, the democrats will erect a statue of Bush for making them the tough on security party.

Ok, I know sometimes something seems worse than it actually is, and I haven't been following this story. So do I understand correctly that President Bush supports the purchase of facilities at six of our major ports by UAE companies?
To: Brian Mosely
Bush just sounded the death knel for this deal. He can't veto things that happen at the state level.
It was foolish of him to make such a statement. Even if he ultimately wins, which I doubt, he will lose significant political face over this.

I am a Bush bot, I guess. But, I hope they go ahead and get that 2/3 vote necessary to override the veto.
To: Brian Mosely
Not a surprise. Bush is digging in to fight the cowardly cover their ass politicians and the MSM trying to turn the deal into something that it's not.

Well, I used to think that the main difference between Democrats and Republicans was the parts of the Constitution they chose to bang upon.
But I think we can also now say that they are also differentiated by what foreign interests they wish to sell us out to.
